摘要: An automatic focus adjusting apparatus for adjusting automatically a focus condition of an objective lens includes a CCD array for receiving light from an object and producing a accumulated charge signal representing the accumulated charge. Using the accumulated charge signal it is detected whether or not the brightness of the object is above a predetermined level, and at the same time, the focusing condition of the objective lens is calculated. Using the calculated result, the focusing condition of the objective lens is adjusted in a controlled manner such that: when the brightness of the object is above the predetermined level, the objective lens moves even during the CCD array is operated to carry out the charge accumulation; but when the brightness of the object is below the predetermined level, the CCD array is operated only during when the objective lens is making no movement.

摘要: In a focus detection system for detecting focus condition of an objective lens, there is disposed a pair of photo sensor arrays each having a plurality of photo cells lined up in one diection to receive a first image and second image passed through respectively a lens system and the photo sensor arrays produce first original signal groups and second original signal groups each signal groups corresponding to light intensity of the images projected thereto. A processing device processes the original signal groups in such a manner that the first original signal groups are respectively divided into a plurality of blocks, and one of the blocks of the first original signal groups is selected and it is detected that in what group in the selected block best coincidence occurs.

摘要: An image sensor system for sensing an image of an object includes a plurality of image sensor arrays. Each array comprises photoelectric converting elements arranged to receive the object image and accumulation cells coupled to each photoelectric converting element for accumulating charges produced from the photoelectric converting element. A buffer memory cells are coupled respectively to the accumulation cells for temporarily storing the accumulated charges shifted from the accumulation cells in response to the completion of the charge accumulation in each array. A shift register is provided to receive accumulated charges from the buffer memory cells in every one of the arrays after all the arrays complete the charge accumulation. The accumulated charges stored in the shift register are then sequentially outputted.

摘要: In a focus detection system for detecting the focus condition of an objective lens, there is disposed a pair of photosensor arrays for generating a plurality of image signals. The peak signal of the plurality of image signals is detected and compared with a predetermined constant level. The amount of defocus of the objective lens is calculated in accordance with the plurality of image signals when the detected peak signal is over the predetermined constant level. It is determined that focus detection is impossible when the detected peak signal is below the predetermined constant level.

摘要: A focus detecting device is provided in which at least a line sensor having a plurality of picture elements is used for receiving light having passed through an objective lens to produce image data. The image data is compared with data shifting the image data by a unit of one or more picture elements to calculate the difference therebetween. It is then determined whether this difference exceeds a predetermined range. Various alternative scheme of calculations on the image data, delayed image data, and differences thereof are disclosed and are responsive to an indication of whether the predetermined condition is exceeded, for identifying defocus of the objective lens. These schemes include one in which, when the difference exceeds the predetermined range, the difference data are reduced by a predetermined rate for calculating defocus of the objective lens.
