摘要: In generating a parallax image string used for generating a holographic stereogram, the image quality of a stereoscopic image generated from the parallax image string is to be maintained as the time needed in imaging the parallax image string is shortened. To this end, an optimum number of image frames of each of plural parallax image strings are photographed in agreement with the localized position of the reproduced image of a generated holographic stereogram. The image processing is executed for equating the numbers of frame images of the parallax image strings. The parallax image strings having the equal number of the frame images of the parallax image strings are synthesized by, for example, chroma key synthesis to generate a new parallax image string.

摘要: An image reproducing apparatus having a small size and which is highly portable reproduces an image contained within a hologram or holographic stereogram. In one embodiment, when a movable section movably attached to an apparatus body is moved from a first position, in which the movable section abuts the apparatus body, to a second position in which the movable section and apparatus body are separated, illumination light from a light source is irradiated at a predetermined incidence angle onto a hologram or holographic stereogram attached to a hologram attach section. In other embodiments, light from a light source is reflected from an edge portion of a light transmitting member, or from a separately provided mirror, to be irradiated at a predetermined angle onto the hologram or holographic stereogram.

摘要: In a system in which images having parallax data, and which are made up of plural images containing the parallax information are processed with viewing point conversion, and the resulting new images having parallax data are used, as in a system of generating a holographic stereogram, a unit for generating the images having parallax data is to be independent from other unit or units. To this end, the information necessary to perform viewing point conversion processing of converting the viewing point for an object is attached to images having parallax data when the images having parallax data have been produced. When the images having parallax data is exchanged between the unit for generating the images having parallax data and other unit or units, the exchanged images having parallax data need to be those to which the information has been attached.

摘要: An image recording method and apparatus for recording an image on a holographic stereogram in such a manner as to generate an optimum reproduced image, and an image reproducing method and apparatus capable of generating an optimum reproduced image from the holographic stereogram. A parallax image string is recorded as a series of strip- or dot-shaped hologram elements by having an object light beam and a reference light beam fall on one and the other surfaces of a recording medium for hologram 130. On the reference light incident side, a light inlet block 52 is arranged for having contact with the recording medium for hologram 130 so that no significant change in the refractive index will be produced on an interface with the recording medium for hologram 130. The reference light beam is illuminated via this light inlet block 52 on the recording medium for hologram.

摘要: An image recording apparatus is capable of reducing a vibration of a hologram recording medium so that a holographic stereogram which provides an excellent reproduced image can be prepared in a short time period. A vibration member 55 is provided on the light path of reference light L4, and a hologram recording medium 10 is intermittently fed with the medium 10 kept in contact with an end portion 55a of the member 55. The reference light L4 passes through a slit 56 of the vibration restriction member 55 and is irradiated onto the hologram recording medium 10 through an opening portion 57 opened at the end side 55a.

摘要: An image forming apparatus includes an endless belt-shaped photosensitive member laid across a drive roller and a plurality of guide rollers and caused to undergo endless traveling, wherein there is used a solidified developer which is solid at an ordinary temperature but is brought into a molten state by implementing a heating processing thereto, and is re-solidified by implementing a cooling treatment thereto. An image preparation process section is disposed at the outer circumferential portion of the drive roller of large diameter, and a recording sheet contact roller and a recording sheet peeling roller which constitute guide rollers are disposed at an upper part of the drive roller so as to mutually constitute the same plane to travel the endless belt-shaped photosensitive member in a horizontal direction. A recording sheet is delivered from a recording sheet supply section and is caused to come into pressure contact with the surface of the endless belt-shaped photosensitive member traveling in the horizontal direction by the recording sheet's own rigidity. When the recording sheet is caused to undergo transfer of a developer image formed on the surface of the endless belt-shaped photosensitive member and is cooled by suitable element means, it is naturally peeled from the endless belt-shaped photosensitive member at a recording sheet peeling roller portion. Thus, a high accuracy transfer image free from image collapse or image flow, etc. can be obtained, and a compact structure and improvement in workability of maintenance, etc. can be realized.

摘要: An imaging sheet roll has a spool on which is wound a film coated with photosensitive microcapsules to form a roll of film between flanges extending radially at the opposite ends of the spool and provide with annular step portions, and a leader tape of a material that is impermeable to light is bonded to the end portion of the film at which the latter unwinds from the spool and has a transverse width greater than that of the film. The leader tape is wound around the annular step portions of the flanges to seat thereagainst and prevent irradiation by light of the photosensitive microcapsules coating the film wound on the spool.

摘要: In a printing apparatus, a relatively long film having a photosensitive surface composed of photosensitive microcapsules is withdrawn from a supply spool and selectively exposed to light to form a photographed film frame prior to being passed through a nip between urged-together press rollers and then wound onto a take-up spool, sheets of developing paper are delivered one at a time by a paper supply roller from a stack of the sheets for passage between the press rollers with each delivered sheet facing a respective exposed area of the film so as to be pressed together therewith, and a roller drive assembly including a first reversible motor operative in first and second directions in printing and rewinding modes, respectively, a first transmission including a first one-way clutch through which the first motor drives the paper supply roller means only when the first motor operates in the first direction in the printing mode, a second transmission including a second one-way clutch through which the supply spool is rotated in a direction to rewind the film only when the first motor operates in the second direction in the rewinding mode, and a second reversible motor operative in first and second directions for driving the press rollers in corresponding first and second directions in the printing and rewinding modes, respectively.
