The first tone unit includes a total of 26 tones, where 2 pilot tones for the first tone unit are included in the total of 26 tones. The second tone unit includes a plurality of tones being greater than the total of 26 tones. The 4 pilot tones for the second tone unit are included in the plurality of tones. The locations of a plurality of pilot tones for the plurality of resource units are fixed when two first tone units are included in the plurality of resource units in place of the second tone unit.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for generating an STF signal usable in a wireless LAN system is provided. The STF signal is included in a field used to improve AGC estimation of a MIMO transmission. A portion of the STF signal is used to transmit an uplink, and can be used for uplink MU PPDUs transmitted from a plurality of STAs. The STF signal that is disclosed is used for a 40 MHz band or an 80 MHz band, is desirably usable for the 40 MHz band, and can be generated based on a sequence in which a predetermined M sequence is repeated. The predetermined M sequence can be a binary sequence of 15 bits.

In detail, the method for a uplink (UL) multi-user (MU) transmission by a station (STA) in a wireless communication system includes receiving a trigger frame including frequency resource allocation information in a subband unit for orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) transmission from an access point (AP), and transmitting a UL MU PPDU based on the frequency resource allocation information, wherein the UL MU PPDU includes a high efficiency-short training field (HE-STF), a high-efficiency-long training field (HE-LTF), and a data field, and the HE-STF, the HE-LTF, and the data field are transmitted in a subband indicated by the frequency resource allocation information.

Abstract: The present specification presents a configuration technique of a field for control information in a wireless communication system. Specifically, presented is a configuration technique of a signal field including user-specific information in a wireless LAN system. A plurality of MCS techniques are applied to each field of a signal field, according to the present embodiment, and each field can be ordered according to the MCS techniques. The signal field according to the present embodiment can be used for a single user or multiple users, wherein the length of each field can be determined for blind decoding of the single user and the multiple users. The signal field according to the present embodiment can be an SIG-B field according to a wireless LAN standard.

Abstract: The present specification presents a technique for transmitting a PPDU by using a resource unit including carriers of different sizes. For example, a PPDU is transmitted by using five frequency bands, a left guard band, and a right guard band. Null subcarriers can be included in the five frequency bands according to the type of included resource unit. The null subcarriers can be the leftmost side or the rightmost side of each frequency band, and the number of included null subcarriers can be determined according to the size of the carrier included in each resource unit or the type of resource unit. A frequency band including DC carriers can include only one resource unit having a discontinuous carrier, and null subcarriers can be further included around the DC carriers.

Abstract: A method for transmitting a trigger frame performed by a first wireless terminal may include, configuring a trigger frame of a basic type including a plurality of user information fields for an OFDMA-based random access backoff procedure by a plurality of second wireless terminals, wherein each of the plurality of user information fields includes resource allocation information for a RA resource unit allocated for the OFDMA-based random access backoff procedure, identifier information indicating that the RA resource unit is allocated for the OFDMA-based random access backoff procedure, and TID aggregation limit information indicating the maximum number of TIDs allowed for an A-MPDU generated by a second wireless terminal that has completed the OFDMA random access backoff procedure based on the trigger frame, and wherein the TID aggregation limit information is set to 0 or 1; and transmitting the trigger frame to the plurality of second wireless terminals.

Abstract: Proposed are a method and apparatus for transmitting a feedback frame in a wireless local area network (WLAN) system. Specifically, a first STA generates the feedback frame based on multi user (MU)-multi input multi output (MIMO) beamforming. The first STA transmits the feedback frame to a second STA. The feedback frame includes information related to a feedback subcarrier for a predetermined frequency band and a beamforming report field for the MU-MIMO beamforming. The feedback subcarrier includes a first subcarrier transmitted first in the feedback subcarrier and a second subcarrier of which a subcarrier index is determined based on a grouping value related to a subcarrier spacing. The beamforming report field includes a first signal to noise ratio (SNR) for the first subcarrier and a first differential SNR for the second subcarrier. The first differential SNR is an SNR difference between adjacent subcarriers included in the feedback subcarrier.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for a station (STA) device transmitting data in a wireless local area network (WLAN) system. The method for transmitting data, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: FEC encoding transmission data; constellation mapping the transmission data; inserting a pilot tone in the transmission data; performing Inverse Discrete Fourier Transform (IDFT) on the transmission data; and upconverting the transmission data and transmitting a transmission signal, wherein, if an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) scheme is applied to the transmission signal, the transmission signal comprises at least one tone unit which is the unit of subcarrier allocation of the OFDMA scheme.
