摘要: A computer implemented method, computer program product, and computer system for viewing content encoded in at least one code set and stored in a file system. A computer identifies a unified code set covering all characters used in the file system. The computer, responsive to a user input to view the content, determines whether the content is wholly encoded in the unified code set. The computer, responsive to determining that the code set is not wholly encoded in the unified code set, converts encoding of the content to the unified code set to form converted content. The computer displays the converted content.

摘要: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for matching a visual media object to an advertisement are provided. Embodiments of the present invention include receiving un-categorized visual media objects, automatically categorizing received visual media objects into subject-matter categories using image recognition technology, and retrieving advertisements assigned to the same subject-matter category for presentation in association therewith.

摘要: An expandable apparatus may comprise a tubular body, a valve piston and a push sleeve. The tubular body may comprise a fluid passageway extending therethrough, and the valve piston may be disposed within the tubular body, the valve piston configured to move axially downward within the tubular body responsive to a pressure of drilling fluid passing through a drilling fluid flow path and configured to selectively control a flow of fluid into an annular chamber. The push sleeve may be disposed within the tubular body and coupled to at least one expandable feature, the push sleeve configured to move axially responsive to the flow of fluid into the annular chamber extending the at least one expandable feature. Additionally, the expandable apparatus may be configured to generate a signal indicating the extension of the at least one expandable feature.

摘要: A medium-access-control (MAC) scheduler, according to one embodiment of which a station of a wireless network evaluates data throughputs corresponding to three different transmission configurations for transmission of a packet over a first of that station's wireless links. The first and second of those transmission configurations have the packet encoded in the first and second tiers, respectively, of a two-tier signal. The third transmission configuration has the packet encoded as a conventional single-tier signal. For each of the first and second transmission configurations, the station selects a second of that station's wireless links for transmission of at least a second packet, with the first and second packets encoded in different respective tiers of the two-tier signal. The station varies power allocation between the first and second tiers to optimize data throughput for each of the first and second transmission configurations and selects from the first, second, and third transmission configurations one resulting in the highest data throughput.

摘要: An electronic card includes a housing, a plurality of contacts retain on the housing and a slider movably retained on the housing. The housing has a mating surface. The contacts are arranged in two rows along a length direction of the housing. Each contact in a first row has a flat first contact portion exposed to the mating surface. Each contact of a second row has a raised elastic second contact portion behind the first contact portion. The slider can move along the length direction of the housing to drive the second contact portions alternatively hiding below the mating surface or protruding out of the mating surface.

摘要: A method for controlling striations and CD loss in a plasma etching method is disclosed. During the etching process, the substrate of semiconductor material to be etched is exposed first to plasma under a low power strike and subsequently to a conventional high power strike. CD loss has been found to be reduced by about 400 Angstroms and striations formed in the contact holes are reduced.
