    摘要： A focal plane shutter for a camera includes a shutter unit casing for supporting a shutter mechanism. A rotatable body is connected with the shutter for winding up the shutter to a charged position. A shutter driving spring is also connected with the shutter mechanism for driving the shutter and a holding member is coupled with the rotatable body for holding the shutter mechanism in a charged position. A driving shaft carrying a driving gear is coupled to the rotatable body through a transmission gear and a clutch. A spring is coupled with the clutch to urge the clutch in a direction for releasing engagement between the transmission gear and the rotatable body. The driving gear has a plane section on its circumferential periphery spacing adjacent teeth apart so that engagement between the driving gear and the transmission gear is released when the rotatable body is held so that the transmission gear and the clutch can rotate, under the influence of the spring, back to the initial position.

    摘要： A power supply circuit for a camera wherein a detection circuit which detects the voltage of a power source is provided for supplying an electric power to the electric circuit of the camera only when the detected voltage is above a preset value.In the power supply circuit, the power supply is controlled by a detection output obtained after a voltage detecting action is performed in a stable condition by the detection circuit. The power source voltage is detected in a manner suitable for the characteristic of the battery employed. Further, the voltage detection is performed only momentarily to prevent unnecessary power consumption for voltage detection.

    摘要： In a shutter-time-preference single lens reflex camera, in which the shutter time control is done with a predetermined shutter time, and diaphragm value is determined by an output information of a photometric means which measures a transmission light of a photographing lens and the above predetermined shutter time information, a camera actuating means provided in the camera body is put into operation through a magnet means provided in the camera body so that the aperture of the photographing is controlled in accordance with the above predetermined diaphragm value, and then the shutter time control is performed. Further, the camera includes an electric driving device and the driving of the electric driving device is controlled by a safety switch which, in turn, is controlled for its ON and OFF conditions by the completion of the exposure operations such as the operation of the shutter rear screen.

The single release switch member is for instructing an image capture operation, and selects one of a first operative state and a second operative state. The first operative state is selected when the single release switch member is pushed down to a first depth. The second operative state is selected when the single release switch member is pushed down to a second depth which is deeper than the first depth. The camera apparatus selects a recordable portion of a recording medium in response to selection of the first operative state, and generates a predetermined electrical signal if the camera apparatus selects the recordable portion of the recording medium. The camera apparatus records the image signal on the selected recordable portion if the second operative state is selected by the single release switch member, and the predetermined electrical signal is generated.
