摘要: A technology for verifying backup data capable of synchronizing timings of checksum calculation and verifying data consistency regardless of the storing position of the data is provided. In a backup system using a data update log, a checksum of data of a backup source and a checksum of backup data are checked, thereby verifying data consistency. Data check log generation means and the like are provided so that the data update log and the data check log are transmitted in order to a secondary site. By this means, the timings of the checksum calculation are synchronized. Further, by providing data area extraction means and the like, the verification of data consistency can be performed regardless of the storing position of the data.

摘要: The present invention provides a simple disk drive and drive unit driving mechanism with compact size in which each part is able to operate smoothly. The disk drive and drive unit driving mechanism comprise a disk holder 10 that has a plurality of holder plates 11 that individually hold disks D, a drive unit 62 that plays back disks D, disk selectors 41A and 41B that form a space above and below a desired disk D by raising and lowering the holder plates 11, and a drive base 60 that moves the drive unit 62 into a space that is formed by raising and lowering the holder plates 11. The disk selectors 41A and 41B are provided with flat cams 41Aa to 41Ac and 41Ba to 41Bc in which the protrusion 14a provided on the holder plate 11 is inserted so as to be capable of performing a sliding movement, such that the tips of the cams are wedge-shaped. The holder plates 11 above and below the desired disk D rise and fall in accordance with the sliding movement of the disk selectors 41A and 41B.

摘要: A method for duplicating transactions in a disaster recover system is disclosed. In this method, transactions and queries input to a primary database system are copied to a secondary database system and both database systems execute the queries and save the results permanently to each database, thereby maintaining duplicated data. When executing a query on the primary database system, if the query is a commit, the primary system simultaneously copies uncopied queries placed in a queue to the secondary database system and then executes the query. By using this processing procedure, the invention realizes a disaster recovery system which carries out copying transactions from one site to another site without losing the transactions, while reducing the influence of copy operation on the transaction processing performance.

摘要: Provided is a backup method including a step (S1) of reading a log which is a data update difference, and identifying a data storage area (page) of backup data, a step (S2) of determining high/low reusability of the identified data storage area, a step (S3) of storing a log corresponding to a data storage area determined to be low in reusability in a log storage area preset on a memory, and a step (S4) of applying a log corresponding to a data storage area determined to be high in reusability to the identified data storage area in a cache area set on the memory, and updating the data storage area. Thus, by further reducing the number of I/O times in an external storage system of a standby system which backs up data by log transfer, it is possible to reduce introduction costs of a backup system and its normal-time operation's costs at normal times.
