Abstract: Obtaining target cell ephemeris information for handover cases is provided. A method may be performed by a user equipment of acquiring, prior to initiating a handover, assistance information about each target neighboring cell in a list of candidate cells that is on the same satellite or a different satellite as a current cell to which the apparatus is currently connected. The handover may be performed from the current cell to one target neighboring cell from the generated list of candidate cells based on the assistance information.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method comprising receiving a data packet from an access node, combining the received data packet with previous repetitions of the data packet to obtain a combined data packet, attempting to decode information comprised in the combined data packet, determining that the attempt to decode was not successful, determining an estimate of energy required for a correct reception of the data packet and based, at least partly, on the determined estimation for the energy, determining an additional number of repetitions of the data packet.

Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to discontinuous reception configuration for multi-beam operations. A method includes receiving, at a first device and from a second device, configuration information indicating a first plurality of configuration settings associated with a plurality of transmission beams of the second device, the first plurality of configuration settings at least including a first plurality of scrambling identifiers. The method also includes in accordance with a determination that a first transmission beam of the plurality of transmission beams is configured for the first device as a serving beam, selecting, from the first plurality of scrambling identifiers, a first scrambling identifier associated with the first transmission beam. The method further includes monitoring for first control information transmitted by the second device via the first transmission beam using the first scrambling identifier, the first control information indicating presence of data to be transmitted by the second device.

Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for conditional hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgement (ACK). For instance, a user equipment (UE) may estimate, during reception of a downlink transmission with x repetitions, an amount of extra energy that may be needed to help ensure successful decoding. The UE may then express this estimate as a quantity of repetitions (y) needed for successful reception, and may inform the radio access network (RAN) of this quantity (e.g., at least one round-trip time (RTT) before the last repetition of the x repetitions is sent). The RAN may handle this message as a conditional positive ACK. The RAN may send the quantity of repetitions y, and may implicitly assume an ACK for that TBS after sending the y repetitions. The RAN may send the next transport blocks (TBS) for that HARQ process after completing transmission of they repetitions.

Abstract: In accordance with example embodiments of the invention there is at least a method and apparatus to perform at least detecting, by a network device of a communication network, at least one failure of network node channel access during or preceding a wake-up signal occasion, and based on the detecting, performing on-duration monitoring. In addition, there is at least a method and apparatus to perform at least determining, by a network node of a communication network, information comprising a configuration for performing on-duration monitoring if a failure of network node channel access is detected during or preceding a wake-up signal occasion; and sending an indication of the information towards the at least one network device.

Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media for counting of devices. In example embodiments, a first device receives, from a second device, a first configuration associated with an event to trigger transmission of a counting signal from the first device to the second device. When the event occurs, the first device transmits, to the second device, at least the counting signal to enable the second device to count the number of devices for determining a type of signals.
