Abstract: The present invention is designed so that beamforming can be executed properly even when user terminals are in idle mode. A user terminal according to the present invention communicates with a radio base station that uses a plurality of beam patterns, and has a receiving section that performs a receiving process for paging information which is transmitted in varying beam patterns, in a paging time period comprised of a plurality of unit periods, and a transmission section that transmits a response signal in response to receipt of the paging information.

Abstract: SS block identification information is identified with high reliability and/or low complexity. According to one aspect of the present invention, a user terminal has a receiving section that receives a synchronization signal (SS) block, which includes a synchronization signal and a broadcast channel; and a control section that specifies identification information of the SS block, based on at least one of a difference of demodulation reference signal sequences for the broadcast channel, a difference of mapping pattern of the reference signal sequences, and a difference of frequency position to which the reference signal sequences are mapped, among a plurality of symbols in the SS block.

Abstract: A terminal is disclosed that includes a processor that, in case where frequency division duplex (FDD) is applied, controls a transmission of an uplink (UL) signal, in FDD, at a same timing as a UL transmission timing that is applied in time division duplex (TDD). The terminal also includes a receiver that receives a downlink control information (DCI), and a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) scheduled by the DCI. The terminal also includes a transmitter that transmits a HARQ-ACK in response to the PDSCH. The reception of the DCI and the transmission of the HARQ-ACK are allowed within one slot. In other aspects, a radio communication method, a base station, and a system are also disclosed.
