摘要: An apparatus and method for applying constant pressure to a plurality of pressure demanding mechanisms is disclosed. The apparatus includes a common rail, a plurality of pressure demanding mechanisms, a pressure supply source, and a plurality of branching paths. The lengths of the pressure supply path Lp, the pressure propagation path in the common rail, Lc, and the pressure branching paths, Li, are chosen so as to satisfy the following formulae, which leads to reductions in pressure fluctuations:(2n+0.5)Lp.ltoreq.Lc.ltoreq.(2n+1.5)Lp(2n+1.5)Lp.ltoreq.Li.ltoreq.(2n+2.5)Lp, where (n=0, 1, 2, . . .).

摘要: The present invention provides a liquid crystal display controller device and method which provides for a full and/or partial display with good display quality and/or low power consumption based on the scanning period for an active scan line being dependent upon a number of reference clock pulses. Some embodiments of the present invention include one or more of the following features: keeping the frequency substantially constant for different numbers of active scan lines, allowing change of the frequency due to characteristics of the LCD, displaying gradation with near linear effective voltage characteristics, displaying graduation data with lower power, or displaying a partial or full screen in a mobile device, for example, a cell phone.

摘要: An image line driving circuit has: an n-number of switching elements for sampling a k-number of gradation voltages inputted from outside and then sequentially supplying the gradation voltages to first to (n/k)-th groups of a k-number of image lines; and a shift register circuit for sequentially inputting sampling voltages to first to (n/k)-th groups of a k-number of switching elements to thereby sequentially turn ON the respective groups of a k-number of switching elements. The scanning line driving circuit sequentially supplies selected scanning voltages to an m-number of scanning lines. The image line driving circuit and the scanning line driving circuit are circuits built in a semiconductor chip mounted on the first substrate. A thin-film transistor has a semiconductor layer formed of amorphous silicon. When voltage levels of the k-number of gradation voltages inputted from outside are at 0 to 5V, the selected scanning voltages inputted to the gates of the thin-film transistors are 20V or more.
