    摘要: A thermal activation device has a thermal head and a platen roller that is in contact with an upwardly inclined surface of the thermal head and that is rotationally driven to convey a heat-sensitive adhesive sheet along the upwardly inclined surface between the thermal head and the platen roller while the thermal head thermally activates a heat-sensitive adhesive layer of the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet. A discharge roller is positioned downstream of the platen roller with a part of an outer circumference of the discharge roller above the level at which the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet exits from between the thermal head and the platen roller. The discharge roller is rotationally driven to convey the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet on the outer circumference of the discharge roller to a discharge port. A discharge guide is positioned above the discharge roller, and spaced from the discharge roller a distance larger than a thickness of the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet, to guide the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet onto the discharge roller. The discharge roller is configured such that a part of the roller outer circumference thereof is offset by 0.3 mm or more to the platen roller side from a reference plane obtained by extending a head surface of the thermal head.

    摘要: Provided is a semiconductor device that solves the problem of a conventional semiconductor device. In the conventional semiconductor device, a resistor is connected with a wiring layer via a contact hole, so that a reduction in parasitic capacitance of the resistor and a substrate is hard to be accomplished. In the semiconductor device of the present invention, a resistor made of a titanium nitride (TiN) film is directly connected with wiring layers on an insulating layer. This structure contributes to an increase in the contact area between the resistor and the wiring layers, and then to a reduction in the contact resistance. Furthermore, a broader separation distance between the resistor and an epitaxial layer contributes to a reduction in the parasitic capacitance in the resistor and to an improvement in the high-frequency characteristics of the semiconductor device.

    摘要: A printer has a printing unit for printing during a printing operation on a printable surface of a thermally sensitive adhesive sheet having a thermally sensitive adhesive layer formed on a surface opposite to the printable surface. A first transporting mechanism transports the thermally sensitive adhesive sheet through the printing unit. A thermally activating unit heats the thermally sensitive adhesive layer of the thermally sensitive adhesive sheet and has a second transporting mechanism for transporting the thermally sensitive adhesive sheet through the thermally activating unit. A third transporting mechanism transports the thermally sensitive adhesive sheet from the printing unit to the thermally activating unit. A control device independently controls the first and second transporting mechanisms to thereby independently control a transporting speed of the thermally sensitive adhesive sheet during transportation thereof by the first and second transporting mechanisms.

    摘要: An optical isolator having an optical element, comprised of an incoming side polarizer, a Faraday rotator, and an outgoing side polarizer superposed in the order of mention in the direction of an optical path, is embedded in the optical path of an optical fiber or optical waveguide having a light axis. The isolator has a slot extending across the light axis in a direction slanted with respect to the light axis. The optical element is inserted in the slot and the spaces between the optical element and the incoming and outgoing sides of the slot are filled with an optical adhesive portion. At least one of the interfaces is inclined at an angle reversely from the plane normal to the light axis as viewed from the slanted incoming side of the slot.

At the same time, by a hole-bottom reaction force generated by the plug 3 contacting the bottom of the prepared hole 19, a construction is completed with the expansion part 6 making press contact with the tapered surface 21a of the prepared hole. Concurrently with completion of the construction, the tensile strength equal to that of the steel product and the like can be obtained immediately without adding an external tensile force.

    摘要: Beams of light emitted from a light source 1 are incident on a polarizer 14. In the event that the direction of a transmission axis of the polarizer 14 is adjusted in advance such that the polarizer 14 transmits P polarized light, only S polarized light can be attenuated. Beams of light which transmit through a diffracting device 2 and a collimator lens 3 for incidence on a beam splitter 4a are made up substantially only by P polarized light. Part of the beams of light, which is reflected on the beam splitter 4a, is incident on a photodetector 13 for use for feedback control of outputs from the light source 1. Since S polarized light is attenuated by the polarizer 14, only P polarized light is incident on the photodetector 13. Consequently, even in case the quantity of emitted laser beams changes, a ratio between the quantity of light for record and reproduction and the quantity of light for APC remains substantially constant, whereby the accuracy of detecting the intensity of laser beams can be increased, thereby making it possible to avoid errors in record and reproduction.

After execution, the fitting protrusion 8 on the inner periphery of the expanding portion 7 as expanded put into concavo-convex engagement with a neck portion 10 of the plug 4 again, thereby exerting an effect of stopping loosening between the two with respect to vibration, etc. During disassembling, a striking force is given to an end of the plug 4 to release the expanded state by a single action, allowing immediate pulling-away of the fastener 1.
