Abstract: A wireless device receives, from a first network, one or more messages comprising an authentication and/or authorization (AA) status of the wireless device indicating whether the wireless device is authenticated and/or authorized for an aerial service, and a parameter indicating that an interface between the first network and a second network is not supported. The wireless device sends, to a network function of the second network, a message, wherein the message comprises the AA status based on the parameter indicating that there is no interface.

Abstract: A wireless device receives, from a base station, a first system information block. The first system information block comprises a broadcast status parameter indicating that a second system information block for a sidelink communication is provided on-demand. A radio resource control (RRC) request to establish an RRC connection for the sidelink communication is transmitted based on the broadcast status parameter. Based on the RRC connection, a sidelink request for a sidelink resource for the sidelink communication is transmitted. An RRC message indicating the sidelink resource is received.

Abstract: A method may include receiving, by a base station central unit from a base station distributed unit, a configuration of a periodic resource for a wireless device. The method may also include sending, by the base station central unit to the wireless device, a radio resource control message comprising the configuration of the periodic resource. The method may further include receiving, by the base station central unit from the base station distributed unit, one or more messages requesting the base station central unit to release a wireless device context, the one or more messages including a cause value indicating that the release of the wireless device context is based on an expiration of a time alignment timer associated with the periodic resource of the wireless device. The method additionally include releasing the wireless device context by the base station central unit.

Abstract: A wireless device may receive, from a base station, a radio resource control (RRC) release message that includes a measurement configuration for one or more measurements by the wireless device while the wireless device is in an RRC inactive state and a small data transmission (SDT) configuration of a SDT procedure for transmission by the wireless device while the wireless device is in the RRC inactive state. While the wireless device is, based on the RRC release message, in the RRC inactive state, the wireless device may initiate the SDT procedure based on the SDT configuration and does not perform, during the SDT procedure, measurements associated with the measurement configuration.

Abstract: A wireless device, in a connected state, receives a release message indicating an uplink grant of a first cell for use in an inactive state. The uplink grant is associated with a synchronization signal block (SSB) of a plurality of SSBs of the first cell. In response to the release message, the wireless device transitions from the connected state to the inactive state. In the active state, at least one beam failure instance is detected based on the SSB. A beam failure detection and recovery procedure on the first cell is initiated, for the first cell and in the inactive state, based on: a measurement quantity of the SSB being lower than a first threshold, and a cell measurement quantity of one or more SSBs of the plurality SSBs of the first cell being higher than a second threshold.

Abstract: A gateway mobile location center (GMLC) receives, from a location services (LCS) client, a request for a capability of a positioning service level for a wireless device. The GMLC receives, from a network function, a second message indicating at least one of a positioning capability of the wireless device and a positioning capability of at least one base station. The GMLC determines the capability of the positioning service level for the wireless device, based on the second message. The GMLC sends, to the LCS client, a response comprising the capability of the positioning service level.
