摘要： The lower-most temperature of the thermal mass in a chilled water stratified storage tank is lowered without reducing its density by the addition of sodium nitrite and sodium nitrate, alone or in combination, preserving thermal stratification so that both warm and chilled water may be stored in the tank, a benefit not previously obtained without the use of chemicals damaging to the environment. A 7% solution of sodium nitrite and sodium nitrate in a 2 to 1 ratio lowers the freezing point of the cooling water to -3.75.degree. C. (25.25.degree. F.) yet still permits the chilled water to stratify in the storage tank.

摘要： A fire damper or the like having butterfly-type gas flow control blades includes a heat responsive blade release assembly that incorporates a standard fusible link accessible from externally of the assembly. The fusible link holds together pivoted side plates of a housing from which extends a pair of arms normally holding the blades in their open positions. When the link melts, the side plates move apart, allowing the arms to open and release the blades. The assembly is also adjustable to vary the extent to which the blades open.

摘要： A new variation to standard poker card games is provided involving the initial dealing of a token to each contestant in a tournament prior to the initial hand being played. The token may then be utilized by the holder at anytime after an individual hand has been fully played by all contestants and an initial winner is determined at that time. Such a token allows the holder to include the token within the pot of such an individual hand in order to have a subsequent card dealt in order to improve, potentially, any remaining contestant's hand. Additionally, different variations including the utilization of such a token as well as the utilization of such a poker variation with electronic and on-line gaming systems is encompassed within the invention as well.
