Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for configuring sidelink slots without symbols for automatic gain control. One aspect provides a method for wireless communication by a user equipment, including receiving a first cyclic prefix of a first symbol within a slot at the user equipment. The method further includes configuring a first automatic gain control setting based on a received power in the first cyclic prefix of the first symbol, and receiving a data portion of the first symbol using the first automatic gain control setting.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may transmit semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) messages to a set of user equipments (UEs) using respective resources corresponding to each UE. The base station may receive, from each of a subset of UEs from the set of UEs, a negative acknowledgement (NACK) message associated with the SPS messages. The base station may transmit a group downlink control message including information associated with a downlink resource configuration for retransmission of the respective SPS messages to the subset of UEs. The base station may retransmit SPS messages to each of the subset of UEs using the downlink resource configuration.

The receiving device may transmit a feedback message to the second UE via a sidelink feedback channel using a first resource configuration, the feedback message based at least in part on the sidelink communications. The receiving device may identify a second resource configuration of the sidelink feedback channel associated with sidelink communications via the sidelink feedback channel. The receiving device may perform the sidelink communications with the second UE via the sidelink feedback channel using the second resource configuration of the sidelink feedback channel.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Aspects of the present disclosure provide a user equipment (UE) with a capability to identify an enhanced sidelink resource pool including resources that are otherwise excluded from configured sidelink resource pools. In some examples, the UE may identify the enhanced sidelink resource pool based on sidelink parameters for transmitting one or more sidelink messages, and the UE may use the enhanced sidelink resource pool for additional sidelink transmissions. The additional sidelink transmissions may include standalone sidelink control information (SCI) transmissions or other types of transmissions associated with sidelink communications. The resources associated with the enhanced sidelink resource pool may have a relatively finer granularity than those included within a base sidelink resource pool that is, for example, configured by a network.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may transmit a first sidelink control information (SCI) message associated with a sidelink transmission from the first UE, the first SCI message including a first indication of a set of resources reserved for retransmissions of the sidelink transmission at one or more retransmission occasions. The first UE may identify a second SCI message associated with the first SCI message, the second SCI message including one or more time domain resource allocation (TDRA) field values indicative of at least a first subset of the set of resources and a release of the at least first subset of the set of resources reserved for the retransmissions of the sidelink transmission, the release pertaining to at least one retransmission occasion of the one or more retransmission occasions. The first UE may then transmit fewer retransmissions of the sidelink transmission in accordance with the release.

Abstract: A first apparatus may be configured to generate a scheduling request to request to transmit at least one of data or control information on a sidelink channel. The first apparatus may be further configured to transmit, to another UE, the scheduling request on resources of a channel configured to carry feedback responsive to transmissions on the sidelink channel. A second apparatus may be configured to monitor resources on a channel for transmissions from other UE, the channel being configured to carry feedback from the other UE responsive to transmissions on a sidelink channel. The second apparatus may be further configured to receive at least one scheduling request from at least one of the other UE on the resources of the channel configured to carry the feedback based on monitoring the resources on the channel.

A base station may send coupled configured grants to a transmitter user equipment (UE) and a receiver UE, respectively. For example, when transmitting a pair of configured grants that includes a first configured grant sent to a first UE and a second configured grant sent to a second UE, the base station may include an indication in each of the configured grants that sidelink semi-persistent scheduling resources are activated or deactivated. A UE may receive a signal indicating a configuration for a symbol reserved for automatic gain control. Based on the configuration for the symbol reserved for automatic gain control, the UE may multiplex assistance data with the symbol reserved for automatic gain control. Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may receive, from at least one second UE, first control information associated with a first reserved set of resources on a sidelink channel. The first UE may attempt to decode additional control information based at least in part on the first control information. The first UE may transmit, based at least in part on failing to decode the additional control information, a message using the first reserved set of resources. In some aspects, the first UE may determine, based on one or more resource dimensions, at least one first distance between the first UE and the at least one second UE, such that the message is transmitted with a first transmit power based at least in part on the first distance.
