    Abstract: In an aspect, a UE determines whether there is an overlap between a first uplink transmission channel allocated for transmission of a first uplink transmission and a second uplink transmission channel allocated for transmission of second uplink transmission. The UE generates a combined uplink transmission payload in response to a determination that there is the overlap, wherein the combined uplink transmission payload includes at least a portion of the first uplink transmission and at least a portion of the second uplink transmission. The UE transmits the combined uplink transmission payload on either the first uplink transmission channel or the second uplink transmission channel. A base station receives the combined uplink transmission payload transmitted by the UE.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for uplink preemption indication. A method for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving at least one ULPI from a base station (BS) indicating, for each of a plurality of sets of uplink resources, a power level the UE can use for one or more uplink transmissions. The UE can determine one or more power levels indicated by the ULPI for resources allocated for the UE for uplink transmission. The allocated resources may include multiple of the sets of uplink resources. The UE can select the power level to use for uplink transmission using the allocated resources based, at least in part, on the determination. The UE sends or drops the one or more uplink transmissions according to the ULPI. A time duration of the plurality of sets of uplink resources can be longer than a configured ULPI monitoring periodicity.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may construct, for adjusted fractally enhanced kernel (FRANK) polar coding, encoding code for encoding data of an ultra-reliable low latency (URLLC) communication, wherein an information bit assignment to an information bit set associated with the encoding code is performed based at least in part on an adjusted dimensionality factor, wherein the encoding code is all-stage FRANK polar code or partial-stage FRANK polar code, and wherein the encoding code is constructed for code block shortening or code block puncturing. In some aspects, the user equipment may transmit the URLLC communication encoded using the encoding code based at least in part on the information bit assignment to the information bit set.     Abstract: A method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided that enable use of a full transmission power for a UE having a first set of coherent antenna ports that is non-coherent to a second set of coherent antenna ports. The apparatus determines a transmission power for a data transmission from the UE to a base station based at least in part on power control signaling from the base station, determines at least one antenna port having non-zero data for transmission, and determines a transmission power split for the at least one antenna port. Then, the apparatus transmits the data transmission from the at least one antenna port, wherein a combined transmission power from the at least one antenna port corresponds to the transmission power determined based at least in part on the power control signaled from the base station.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for compact downlink control information (DCI) signaling design for ultra-reliable low-latency communications (URLLC). A method for wireless communications performed by a base station (BS) is provided. The method generally includes generating DCI, the DCI scheduling at least one transmission, according to a first DCI format. The first DCI format is compressed relative to a second DCI format and includes a carrier indicator field (CIF) and/or a rate-matching indicator field. The BS transmits the DCI to a user equipment (UE). The UE communicates with the BS based on the received DCI.
