Abstract: The apparatus, which may be a receiving device, is disclosed. The apparatus may receive at least one HARQ retransmission of at least one first bit. The HARQ retransmission may be associated with an MLC scheme including MSD. The MLC scheme may include a plurality of bits with the at least one first bit and at least one second bit. The apparatus may decode the at least one first bit of the MLC scheme based on the at least one HARQ retransmission. The apparatus may determine whether the at least one first bit of the MLC scheme is decoded successfully. The apparatus may decode, upon determining that the at least one first bit of the MLC scheme is decoded successfully, the at least one second bit of the MLC scheme based on at least one ARQ retransmission of the at least one second bit.

Abstract: Aspects of disclosure relate to a UE reporting to a gNB time delays and phases of pilot signals received via multiple transmission paths in order for the gNB to pre-equalize a future transmission to the UE. The UE determines a first time delay for receiving a first pilot signal from a gNB via a first path, determines a second time delay for receiving a second pilot signal from the gNB via a second path, and generates a report based on the first time delay and the second time delay. The UE then sends the report to the gNB and receives a multi-TRP signal from the gNB via the first path and the second path, wherein the multi-TRP signal is pre-equalized for transmission based on the report to at least have a same time delay as a shorter one of the first time delay or the second time delay.

Abstract: A base station transmits a first transmission using a first directional beam and determines an equivalent isotropic radiated power (EIRP) relationship between the first transmission and a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) for a user equipment (UE). The base station transmits, to the UE, an indication of the EIRP relationship between the first transmission and the PDSCH. Then, the base station transmits the PDSCH to the UE using the second directional beam. The UE uses the indication of the EIRP relationship to receive the PDSCH from the base station over the second directional beam.

Abstract: Embodiments include systems and methods for communicating information in a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) message. A processor of a wireless device may configure a PUCCH message to include an uplink message in a short data field. The processor may send the PUCCH message including the short data field to convey the uplink message to a communication network. In some embodiments, the processor may receive data from a second wireless device in a downlink channel, and may generate an acknowledgement message responsive to the received data. The processor may configure the short data field to include the acknowledgement message, and may send the PUCCH message including the short data field that includes the acknowledgement message to acknowledge the received data.
