    Abstract: Guide holders for engaging a motherboard sled with an input-output sled stacked thereon within an electronic chassis, are disclosed. The electronic chassis includes a motherboard sled having a housing having a first sidewall and a second sidewall opposite to the first sidewall, a first guide holder and a second guide holder. The first guide holder is coupled to the first sidewall and includes a first plurality of slots for directing motion of a first plurality of guide pins of an input-output sled in a predetermined direction. The second guide holder is coupled to the second sidewall and includes a second plurality of slots for directing motion of a second plurality of guide pins of the input-output sled in the predetermined direction. The motion of the first plurality of guide pins and the second plurality of guide pins, upon completion, locks the input-output sled to the motherboard sled.

    Abstract: A carrier for different electronic components for installation in an expansion card for a computing device is disclosed. The carrier conforms to M.2 standards such as an M.2 22110 form factor. The carrier has a top heat sink and a bottom heat sink. A circuit board includes the electronic device. The circuit board is seated between the top heat sink and the bottom heat sink. A side clip includes a top panel and a bottom panel. The side clip has an open position and a closed position. When the side clip is in the closed position, the top panel of the side clip contacts the top heat sink, and the bottom panel of the side clip contacts the bottom heat sink, to hold the top heat sink to the bottom heat sink.

    Abstract: A fan module holder for holding a fan module generating air flow is disclosed. The holder includes a base, a first wall and a second wall, and a plurality of hooks. The first wall and the second wall extend from opposite ends of the base. The plurality of hooks extends from a top section of the first wall and the second wall and is configured to secure a cooling system. A plurality of apertures is formed as a vent in the first wall. Each of the plurality of hooks includes a protrusion extending therefrom. The second wall includes a cutout. The fan module abuts the base, the first wall, and the second wall of the holder when the holder is in an installed position. The base is generally rectangular and includes a plurality of cylinders.

    Abstract: A computer chassis can include an airflow channel for permitting airflow specifically to cool one or more power supply units (PSUs) within respective power supply receiving space(s). The chassis can include a baffle device positioned between the power supply receiving space and the airflow channel for directing airflow through the PSU into the airflow channel. The airflow channel can be located between first and second spaces of the chassis, each containing computing components. The baffle device can include a cable passthrough that receives a cable that facilitates communication between component(s) in the first space and component(s) in the second space. The baffle device can include one or more ribs that stop the PSU from being fully inserted into the power supply receiving space when the PSU is inserted in an incorrect orientation, thus signaling to the user to remove the PSU and re-insert it in a correct orientation.

    Abstract: A removable lever apparatus for inserting and removing computer equipment from a chassis module of a server rack includes a central rotatable structure, a long arm connected to and extending in a first direction away from the central rotatable structure, and a short arm connected to and extending in a second direction away from the central rotatable structure. The central rotatable structure includes a rotation stopper for limiting rotation about the axis of rotation between an inserting position and a removing position. The central rotatable structure also includes a retention structure for maintaining the coupling to the tray when the central rotatable structure is in a position other than the inserting position. The short arm is configured to engage a side wall of the chassis module when the central rotatable structure is rotated.

    Abstract: A component housing insertable in a chassis for a computing device blocking air flow when in a pulled out position is disclosed. The component housing has a front end and an opposite rear end. A pair of side walls are provided between the front end and the rear end. The side walls are slidably connected to the chassis to allow the component housing to be moved between an inserted position and the pulled-out position. A cover on the rear end has an open position allowing air flow through the rear end when the component housing is in the inserted position. The cover has a closed position blocking air flow through the aperture when the component housing is in the pulled out position.

    Abstract: A carrier device includes a base bracket, a device bracket, a lever, and a cable holder. The device bracket is coupled to the base bracket and is movable between an initial device bracket position and a final device bracket position. The lever is coupled to the base bracket and is movable between an initial lever position and a final lever position. The lever is configured to move from the initial lever position toward the final lever position in response to the device bracket moving from the initial device bracket position to the final device bracket position.     Abstract: A lifting structure in the form of a release hook configured to conveniently and easily release computer components from their supporting structure by a simple pivoting action in response to lifting of thumbscrews. A typical computer component would be a PCIe card within a GPU tray. The lifting structure does not require the use of tools to release the computer components, and can be used where computer components ordinarily cannot be released by human fingers due to limitations of space. The lifting structure lifts the computer component to a height where the computer component can then be easily grasped by human fingers for removal of the component.

    Abstract: A flap for a cage for holding electronic devices in a computing system is disclosed. The flap includes a main segment, a first vertical extension, a second vertical extension, a lateral ledge, and a tapered ledge. The first vertical extension and the second vertical extension extend from a first side of the main segment. The lateral ledge extends from a third side of the main segment. The tapered extensions extend from a second side of the main segment and include a flat section and an angled section. The flap has a deployed position and a stored position in the cage. The flap engages with at least two sides of the cage in the deployed or the stored position. The flap may be in the stored position when an electronic component is present. The flap blocks airflow through the cage in the deployed position.
