    摘要: A suspension system 10 for a vehicle for suspending a wheel 1 is disclosed. An outer rotor type motor 20 is provided within the wheel 1. The motor 20 has a stator (28, 30) provided on an outer surface of a cylindrical member 24 that defines space 70 open to at least an inboard side of the vehicle, and a rotor (22,26) rotatably supported by the cylindrical member 24. The wheel 1 receives the motor 20 and is connected to the rotor (22,26). The mounting portions of suspension arms (50,52,54) are provided on an inner surface of the cylindrical member 24.

    摘要: An axial-direction intermediate portion (21) of a torsion beam is pressed so as to have a substantially V-shape cross section. The axial direction intermediate portion (21) includes an outer wall (21a) and an inner wall (21b). Plural protrusions (21a1) (convex portions) formed on the outer wall (21a) are in contact with the inner wall (21b). The plural protrusions (21a1) are arranged at predetermined intervals on one straight line along an axial direction of the torsion beam. An inter-wall space (21c) having a width equivalent to a height of the protrusions (21a1) is formed between the outer wall (21a) and the inner wall (21b). The width of the inter-wall space (21c) is set to a predetermined value, considering torsional rigidity and a shear center position of the torsion beam. Since the outer wall (21a) and the inner wall (21b) are in contact with each other at the protrusions (21a1), it is possible to suppress occurrence of abnormal noise that is caused when the outer wall (21a) and the inner wall (21b) slidably contact each other.

    摘要: In a trailing arm suspension for a vehicle, an axle carrier is fitted to the wheel-side end of a trailing arm, and an axle bearing is fitted to the axle carrier. The axle carrier includes a first flat plate-like member and a second flat plate-like member. The first flat plate-like member is arranged in substantially the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. The axle bearing is fitted to the first flat plate-like member. The second flat plate-like member is fixed to the front end of the first flat plate-like member at an angle at or around 90 degrees. The second flat plate-like member is fixed to the wheel-side end of the trailing arm at an angle within the range of 60 degrees to 90 degrees.

Accordingly, an amount of liquid crystal supplied to the substrate can be controlled with high precision.
