Abstract: A novel display panel that is highly convenient or reliable is provided. A pixel circuit includes a first switch, a node, a capacitor, and a second switch. The first switch includes a first terminal to which a first signal is supplied and a second terminal electrically connected to the node. The capacitor includes a first terminal electrically connected to the node and a second terminal electrically connected to the second switch. The second switch includes a first terminal to which a second signal is supplied and a second terminal electrically connected to the second terminal of the capacitor. In addition, the second switch has a function of changing from a non-conducting state to a conducting state when the first switch is in a non-conducting state and a function of changing from a conducting state to a non-conducting state when the first switch is in a non-conducting state. The display element performs display on the basis of a potential of the node.

Abstract: A semiconductor device with reduced power consumption is provided. With three transistors, potentials of two nodes are switched and a voltage is detected. One of a source and a drain of a first transistor is electrically connected to a first terminal. The other of the source and the drain of the first transistor is electrically connected to a non-inverting input of a comparator through a first node. One of a source and a drain of a second transistor is electrically connected to a second terminal. The other of the source and the drain of the second transistor is electrically connected to one of a source and a drain of a third transistor through a second node. The other of the source and the drain of the third transistor is electrically connected to a third terminal. A first capacitor is provided between the first node and the second node. An inverting input of the comparator is electrically connected to a fourth terminal. An output of the comparator is electrically connected to a fifth terminal.

Abstract: To provide a hysteresis comparator having a small circuit area and low power consumption. The hysteresis comparator includes a comparator, a switch, a first capacitor, a second capacitor, and a logic circuit. A first terminal of the switch is electrically connected to one of a pair of conductive regions of the first capacitor, one of a pair of conductive regions of the second capacitor, and a first input terminal of the comparator. An output terminal of the comparator is electrically connected to an input terminal of the logic circuit. An output terminal of the logic circuit is electrically connected to the other of the pair of conductive regions of the second capacitor. The logic circuit has a function of generating an inverted signal of a signal input to the input terminal of the logic circuit and outputting the inverted signal to the output terminal of the logic circuit. A reference potential is input to the first input terminal of the comparator and the reference potential is held by the switch. Due to change in the potential of the output terminal of the comparator, the reference potential is changed by capacitive coupling of the second capacitor.

Abstract: A display device that inhibits display deterioration is provided. The display device estimates the amount of deterioration of a pixel included in the display device and corrects a first image signal supplied to the pixel. The display device includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels, a frame memory, and an arithmetic portion. The pixels each include a light-emitting element and a transistor supplying a current to the light-emitting element. The arithmetic portion has a function of performing an arithmetic operation in accordance with a regression model. A forecast error parameter and an output parameter are set in the arithmetic portion. The arithmetic portion updates the forecast error parameter from a first observation signal supplied from the frame memory and a second observation signal supplied from the pixel, in accordance with the regression model, and updates an output parameter by the forecast error parameter in accordance with the regression model. The arithmetic portion corrects the first image signal by the output parameter and generates a second image signal, and the light-emitting element emits light by the second image signal supplied to the transistor included in the pixel.

Abstract: An object is to reduce leakage current and parasitic capacitance of a transistor used for an LSI, a CPU, or a memory. A semiconductor integrated circuit such as an LSI, a CPU, or a memory is manufactured using a thin film transistor in which a channel formation region is formed using an oxide semiconductor which becomes an intrinsic or substantially intrinsic semiconductor by removing impurities which serve as electron donors (donors) from the oxide semiconductor and has larger energy gap than that of a silicon semiconductor. With use of a thin film transistor using a highly purified oxide semiconductor layer with sufficiently reduced hydrogen concentration, a semiconductor device with low power consumption due to leakage current can be realized.

Abstract: A semiconductor device includes a display device and a source driver. Each of a plurality of pixels included in the display device is supplied with a first data potential and a second data potential included in a range of a first potential or higher to a second potential or lower. The first data potential makes the pixel display an image with a first gray level. The pixel performs calculation with the first data potential and the second data potential to generate a third data potential. The third data makes the pixel display an image with a second gray level. A reference potential of the first data potential is an intermediate potential between the first potential and the second potential, and the gray level width that can be displayed by the second data potential is larger than the gray level width that can be displayed by the first data potential.

A method for driving a display device includes a first period and a second period. The display device includes pixels, a gate driver, and a touch sensor unit. The touch sensor unit detects a touch in the first period and stops detecting a touch in the second period.
