摘要: A sheet binding device and a binding method capable of binding stable sheets independently of sheet shape dimensions. The device operates by feeding a paper strap by strap feed rollers and a tape catcher, whereby the paper strap is clamped and rotated along a locus. In synchronization with this rotation, one hundred sheets are conveyed from left to right. The paper strap is wound round the one hundred sheets. A strap has a contact portion at its end, and the contact portion is permitted to make contact with the paper strap, and a cylindrical body is rotated at an angle formed between the one hundred sheets and the paper strap can be adjusted. If the angle of the binding portion exceeds one hundred sheets, the excess page count is equalized to an allowable value by the strap, thus preventing the curling of the sheets.

摘要: A paper sheet processing apparatus includes a plurality of bundling devices, and a plurality of chute devices which temporarily hold bundles, which are bundled by the bundling devices. A second transfer conveyor, which is slower than a first transfer conveyor, is disposed on a downstream side of the first conveyor. A transmission sensor, which detects abnormality in length of the bundle, is provide along the second conveyor. The distance from a release position of the bundle from the chute device, which is located on a most downstream side, to a terminal end of the first conveyor and the length of the second conveyor are set such that a time until the bundle, which is released from the most downstream chute device, is transferred onto the second conveyor is longer than at least a time until the bundle, which is transferred from the first conveyor, passes through the second conveyor.

摘要: A clock multiplication circuit simple in configuration, easy to adjust the characteristics thereof, and capable of shortening lockup time. The circuit delivers an output clock signal at a frequency that is a multiple of the frequency of a reference clock signal as inputted. A counter counts the number of rising edges of the output clock signal existing during a High level period of the reference clock signal, delivering a count value CN. A subtracter subtracts the count value from a reference value BN, delivering a difference value DN. An adder adds the difference value to a preceding integrated value, calculating a new integrated value. A DA converter delivers the analog control voltage corresponding to the integrated value. A VCO delivers the output clock signal at a frequency corresponding to the analog control voltage. The frequency of the output clock signal is controlled such that DN=BN−CN=0.

摘要: A driving apparatus in a printing press includes a plate cylinder driven by a printing press motor, an inking device drive-coupled to the plate cylinder, and a driving connecting/disconnecting mechanism. The mechanism connects and disconnects transmission of driving from the plate cylinder to the inking device, and includes first and second gears which are engageable with each other, supported rotatably, and constantly drive-coupled to one and the remaining one, respectively, of the plate cylinder and inking device. The second gear has a second engaging portion engageable with a plurality of first engaging portions of the first gear which have the same shape and are equidistantly arranged in a rotational direction of the first gear. When the first and second engaging portions engage, the plate cylinder and inking device are drive-coupled; when they are disengaged, they are disconnected. The number of first engaging portions is set on the basis of a value related to the first gear, so that when the plate cylinder reaches a phase identical to that where the first and second engaging portions disengage, the first and second engaging portions can engage regardless of a driving connection ratio of one of the plate cylinder and inking device to the first gear.

摘要: In a differential output signal circuit suitable for restraining voltage overshooting/undershooting at differential output terminals due to lags in input signals and realizing stable and fast switching of differential input signals, a first differential pair of PMOS. transistors connected to a first current source and a second differential pair of NMOS transistors connected to a second current source are mutually connected at the differential output terminals, and a capacitor is connected between the connection nodes of the respective differential pairs and current sources. A transitional current path of the capacitor restrains voltage variations during differential input signal switching. Further in a signal detection apparatus suitable for realizing the detection of fast transmitted differential input signals with less current consumption and at low cost, an edge detect signal is supplied against a differential input of or above a prescribed value, and a setting signal is issued when this edge detect signal has been detected a prescribed number of times during a first prescribed length of time while a resetting signal is issued if none is detected during a second prescribed length of time. A signal-detect signal is generated from these setting signal and resetting signal.
