摘要： A signal transmitting device for transmitting signals from operating switches which are provided on a steering wheel of an automobile to an electric load provided on a body thereof, is disclosed. The device comprises one annular electrode which is provided on a lower end surface of a steering wheel boss rotating with the steering wheel and another annular electrode which is provided on an upper end surface of a steering column cover fixed to the body so as to be opposed to the one annular electrode. These annular electrodes form a capacitor. The device further comprises a signal generating circuit composed of a plurality of resistors having different resistance values which are selectively connected to the one electrode provided on the steering wheel by use of the above described switches, an RC oscillator circuit composed of the above described capacitor which is connected to another annular electrode on the steering column cover and a signal receiving circuit which detects the change in output frequency of the oscillator circuit. The signal generating circuit is provided on the steering wheel while the oscillator circuit and the signal receiving circuit are provided on the body. By operating the switches, the resistor to be connected to the electrode provided on the steering wheel is changed so that the impedance of the line including the capacitor is changed. As a result, the output frequency of the oscillator circuit is changed by steps.

摘要： A picture combining apparatus for concurrently using a single shooting television camera to pick up still pictures such as titles. In the picture combining apparatus, the level of a luminance signal in a still picture signal generated from the television camera is compared with a threshold level to generate a binary signal corresponding to the difference therebetween and the binary signal is stored in a memory. At a given time during the shooting of a background the content of the memory is read so that the binary signal is provided with a particular color or luminance level and is superimposed on a background picture signal from the camera. Thus, the camera generates an output signal corresponding to a picture comprising the still picture superimposed on the background.

摘要： There is provided a capacity type rotation detecting apparatus which comprises a first insulating circular plate having on one surface thereof at least one pair of sets of electrode pieces arranged circumferentially and connected electrically to one another and at least one ring-shaped electrode, a second insulating circular plate having on one surface thereof at least one set of electrode pieces arranged circumferentially to face the at least one pair of sets of electrode pieces on the first insulating circular plate and connected electrically to one another and at least one ring-shaped electrode arranged to face the at least one ring-shaped electrode on the first plate and connected electrically to the at least one set of electrode pieces on said second plate, and a periodic signal supply circuit for applying periodic signals of opposite phase to the at least one pair of electrode-piece sets, respectively, on the first insulating circular plate, whereby, when the first and second insulating circular plates are placed facing each other and rotated relative to each other, the phase relation between the periodic signals transmitted to the at least one ring-shaped electrode on the first insulating circular plate through the capacitance formed between the opposite electrodes of the first and second plates and the periodic signals from the periodic signal supply circuit is detected and a rotational position signal and a reference angular position signal are generated simultaneously in accordance with the results of the phase detection.

摘要： A rotational position detecting apparatus suitable for the crank angle sensor of an engine is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a first and a second plate in a manner so that the first plate is placed opposite to the second plate, the first plate including a first and a second toothed electrode and a first and a second circular electrode, the second plate including a third and a fourth toothed electrode and a third and a fourth circular electrode, the first and second toothed electrodes and the first and second circular electrodes being electrically connected with each other, correspondingly and respectively, the third and fourth toothed electrodes and the third and fourth circular electrodes being electrically connected with each other, correspondingly and respectively, a first signal and a second signal having the opposite phase to that of the first signal being applied to the first and second toothed electrodes of the first plate respectively thereby detecting rotational position of the second plate. The apparatus further comprises a compensating capacitor for cancelling the distributed capacity existing between the electrodes of the first plate.
