摘要: The present invention relates to a sensor network managing apparatus and a method thereof. The sensor network managing apparatus according to the present invention receives a query that includes a spatial join predicate for searching for target sensor nodes and a comparison predicate that is different for each sensor network, and generates query execution order information for searching for the target sensor nodes based on the spatial join predicate and the comparison predicate, wherein the spatial join predicate is related to a spatial location between sensor nodes respectively included in different sensor networks, and the comparison predicate are related to sensing values of sensor nodes of the sensor networks. In addition, the sensor node managing apparatus executes queries for the spatial join predicate and the comparison predicate on the plurality of sensor nodes on the basis of determined query execution order, and then extracts target sensor nodes as the query results. According to the present invention, an efficient method for searching for user-desired sensor nodes in more than two different sensor networks can be provided.

摘要: Disclosed is a method of recognizing a text from an image. The method includes dividing the image into a predefined number of regions through a clustering technique; setting a certain area of the regions as a background region; identifying the outer peripheral pixel and inner peripheral pixel of each region except for the background region of the divided regions; setting a region identified as having one of its outer peripheral pixel and its inner peripheral pixel corresponding to a pixel of the background region, as a boundary region; and setting a region identified as having any of its outer peripheral pixel and its inner peripheral pixel not corresponding to a pixel of the background region, as a center text region, and excluding the boundary region from a binary-coding object of the text.

摘要: Provided are an access point arrangement device and a method for wireless location determination. An access point is arranged on a numerical map, received signal strength of a signal received from the access point for each grid point is calculated, and DOP and position error per grid point are calculated by using the received signal strength per grid point. It is determined whether to rearrange the currently arranged access point based on a ratio of a grid point with DOP less than a threshold value for entire grid points on the numerical map and a ratio of a grid point with a position error that is less than a threshold value.

摘要: A display panel includes a power line supplying power, and a plurality of pixels connected with the power line, each pixel including a plurality of sub-pixel regions, and receiving the power to display an image. Each of the pixels further includes a plurality of driving thin film transistors and a plurality of light emitting units. Each of the driving thin film transistors are positioned in respective sub-pixel regions to receive the power to output driving signals. Each of the light emitting units are connected to respective driving thin film transistors, have relatively longer lengths in a first direction, and have the same width in a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction. One among the plurality of light emitting units is longer than the remaining light emitting units to thereby improve a light emitting efficiency and image display quality of a display panel.
