摘要: A license plate reader uses a neural network to determine a plurality of predicted license plate regions within an image. The plurality of predicted license plate regions is transferred to an optical character recognition unit that performs optical character recognition on the plurality of predicted license plate regions to output a plurality of predicted character sequences. The license plate reader receives the output of the optical character recognition unit that contains the plurality of predicted character sequences and analyzes the plurality of predicted character sequences to determine a best estimate for a character sequence in the image.

摘要: Embodiments are disclosed for responding to an incoming alert using vehicle resources to scan and report on an environment of a vehicle. An example an in-vehicle computing system of a vehicle includes a sensor subsystem in communication with a sensor, a communication interface, a processor, and memory storing instructions executable by the processor to receive, via the communication interface, an alert including one or more alert parameters, instruct the sensor to scan an assigned region around the vehicle, receive, from the sensor, locally scanned data corresponding to the assigned region, determine that the scanned data includes an object having features matching a selected alert parameter of the one or more alert parameters, and transmit, to an alert service, a notification identifying the object and the features matching the selected alert parameter, the notification including a location of the object.

摘要: Systems and methods for operating an Unmanned Mobile Machine (“UMM”). The methods comprise: detecting, by a Loss Prevention System (“LPS”), an unusual activity by at least one individual in a facility; communicating a signal from the loss prevention system to the UMM, in response to the detection of the unusual activity; transitioning an operational state of the UMM from a first state in which at least mitigation operations are disabled to a second state in which the mitigation operations are enabled, in response to the signal's reception at the UMM; and performing the mitigation operations by the UMM to visibly follow an individual associated with the unusual activity.

摘要: A method and a server for executing a computer game using vehicle license plate numbers are provided. Prior to starting the computer game, respective playing sets of one or more vehicle license plate images for at least two players are received and at least two matching opponents are selected from the at least two players. A respective playing number from the respective playing set is received from the at least two matching opponents. A point-value for each one of the at least two matching opponents is calculated based on the respective playing number, the point-value being for the at least one game round. For each opponent, the point-value is aggregated to a cumulative point-value for the opponent. The winner of the computer game is determined by the server by selecting a winning player with a highest value of the cumulative point-values.

摘要: In some examples, a computing device receives an image of an optically active article that includes a set of one or more symbols of a symbol set, wherein at least one symbol of the set of one or more symbols comprises a set of encoding regions that are embedded with the symbol. In response to receiving the image, the computing device may determine that a particular image region of the image represents the at least one symbol. For encoding regions within the at least one symbol, the computing device may determine, based at least in part on the determination that the particular image region of the image represents the at least one symbol, whether the one or more encoding regions are active or inactive. The computing device may perform, based at least in part on whether the one or more encoding regions are active or inactive, one or more operations.

摘要: An out-of-stock detection system notifies store management that a product is out of stock. The out-of-stock detection system collects image data from shopper client devices that are attached to shopping carts or hand-held baskets being used by shoppers in the store. The shopper client devices include one or more cameras that capture images of the store as the shoppers travel through the store. The out-of-stock detection system detects products in the image data and determines whether any products are out of stock based on the products that are detected. For example, the out-of-stock detection system may determine which products should be detected in the image data and identify as out of stocks the products that are not actually detected in the image data. Upon identifying an item as out-of-stock, the out-of-stock detection system notifies the store management that the item is out of stock.

摘要: A system for sparse map autonomous navigation of a vehicle along a road segment may include at least one processor. The at least one processor may be programmed to receive a sparse map of the road segment. The sparse map may have a data density of no more than 1 megabyte per kilometer. The at least one processor may be programmed to receive from a camera, at least one image representative of an environment of the vehicle, and determine an autonomous navigational response for the vehicle based on the analysis of the sparse map and the at least one image received from the camera.

摘要: A method, which is performed by an electronic device, for resizing an image having text is disclosed. The method may include determining layout information of at least one text region in the image. The layout information may include at least one of a number, a size, a location, a shape, or a text density of the at least one text region in the image. The method may also select a seam carving operation, a cropping operation, or a scaling operation for the image based on the layout information, a size of the image, and a target image size. The selected operation may be performed to resize the image to the target image size based at least on one of the layout information, the size of the image, or the target image size. The resized image may include the at least one text region.

摘要: A method and a system generate a time-series signal indicative of a variation of the environment in vicinity of the vehicle with respect to a motion of the vehicle and submit the time-series signal to the neural network to produce a reference trajectory as a function of time that satisfies time and spatial constraints on a position of the vehicle. The neural network is trained in to transform time-series signals to reference trajectories of the vehicle. The motion trajectory tracking the reference trajectory while satisfying constraints on the motion of the vehicle is determined and the motion of the vehicle is controlled to follow the motion trajectory.
