摘要: Coded light has been proposed to enable advanced control of light sources and transmit information using light sources. Methods, devices and systems configured to operate a coded lighting control system, which is robust to interference from other sources of light are proposed. The method is based on sensing the light by a remote control device, and based on the sensing result adapting the identifiers used by the different light sources. By assigning a code identifier to the light source based on light received by the light receiver the code identifiers may be selected such that the influence of light interfering with the light source identifiers may be mitigated.

摘要: This invention relates to a color controlled light source comprising a plurality of colored light elements; a detector for detecting the light output of the light source and generating a detection signal; and a color control unit for generating driving signals to said light elements on the basis of said detection signal and a predetermined target color point of the light output of the light source. In order to enable detection of contributions from individual light elements to the light output of the light source, the light source further comprises a modulator for individual signature modulation of the driving signal to each one of said light elements; and a corresponding demodulator for demodulation of said detection signal and generation of actual, i.e. measured, values of the output of the individual light elements. The color control unit determines nominal values of the light output of each light element for obtaining said target color point, and compares the actual values with the nominal values. If there is a difference, it adjusts the driving signals in order to minimize the difference.

摘要: It is presented a lighting device (2) arranged to embed light quality data in light emanating from the lighting device. The light quality data pertains to a status of the lighting device (2), e.g. with respect to its end of operational life. The light may be detected by a monitoring device (3) external to the lighting device (2). The monitoring device (3) can then help to determine the status of the lighting device (2), whereby maintenance operations of the lighting device (2) may be carried out.Maintenance personnel may thus replace lighting devices and/or light sources in need of maintenance as indicated by the status of each lighting device, before any lighting device in the system has reached an end of operational life.

摘要: There is provided a method for advanced configuration and initialization of a luminaire system. The luminaire system comprises one or more lighting devices (102), an apparatus (104) and a user interface (106). The apparatus comprises a light sensor. One or more of the lighting devices are not connected to a central controller by means of a wired/wireless connection. Therefore, techniques and procedures to use manual interaction 5 by an operator (114) to control these lighting devices are proposed. The proposed techniques enable backward compatible and low-cost implementations of advanced luminaire initialization and configuration. Moreover, this invention proposes to combine the user input, sensing and control functionality into one device, thereby reducing the total cost of implementation and ownership of the proposed system. A corresponding system and 10 apparatus are also presented.

摘要: Proposed is an illumination system (100) comprising a plurality of light sources (10) provided with encoders (20) arranged to enable light emitted from the light sources to comprise light source identification codes. In order to enable light effect commissioning, i.e. correlating the light sources (10) with their illumination footprints (11), the system further comprises a camera (40) arranged to register images of illumination spots (11), and a signal processor (111) arranged to derive the light source identification codes from registered images. Arranging the encoders (20) to modulate the light emitted at a frequency above a predefined high level to comprise fast codes (12) and at a frequency below a predefined low level to comprise slow codes (13), beneficially allows for the use of simple low cost camera systems.

摘要: The present invention relates to a location commissioning method for a lighting system, which comprises several lighting arrangements. Thus, an illuminated position, of for example a room, is selected for the performing the commissioning, which is then associated with that position. This commissioning is called Luxissioning™. The position is assigned a position id, and the light at the position is measured. Light data associated with each one of the lighting arrangements is derived from the measured light, and the light data is associated with the position id. Light transfer data is determined on basis of the light data and current drive data for the lighting arrangements and stored in a light effect setting array for the position id. A light effect setting method is also present, where there is requested a selected light effect at a selected position. For each such request data comprising a position id and a target light effect setting associated with the position is received. The associated initial light effect setting array is derived, for example by retrieving a stored one. Required drive data for the relevant light arrangements, for obtaining the target light effect setting, is determined by means of the light transfer data held in the array, and adjustments are made accordingly, if necessary. Devices and systems for performing the above methods are also addressed by this invention.

摘要: A direction controllable lighting unit (10) and use thereof in a lighting system (40) are described. A lighting unit (10) has means (16) for directing the light emission (22) into different directions. A plurality of light sources (20a, 20b) are mounted on a common body (14). The light sources (20a, 20b) are disposed to emit directed light into different directions. The light is modulated to contain identification codes ‘A’, ‘B’, which are unique. Within the lighting system (40), an optical sensor (46) is arranged in a region illuminated by the lighting unit (10). The optical sensor (46) demodulates the received light according to the identification code. A control unit (44) is connected to the optical sensor (46) and to the lighting unit (10) to control the direction of the lighting unit (10) based on information from the optical sensor (46).
