摘要: A transmission for transmitting drive from a motor to a drive sprocket wheel for driving the drive chain of a mineral mining plough has a housing which is attached to a side plate of the drive frame of a mine conveyor. The housing is formed with a recess sized and shaped to accommodate the sprocket wheel. The recess is open at one end to permit the plough drive chain to enter and leave the sprocket wheel. The housing is provided with connector flanges adjacent to the end remote from the recess opening, and with a spacer adjacent to the end adjacent to the recess opening. The spacer is detachably secured to the housing and to the drive frame, or to an intermediate channel section which joins the drive frame to a scraper-chain conveyor. The spacer and the flanges are bolted to the drive frame and/or the channel section.

摘要: The electrolysis apparatus for the manufacture of chlorine from aqueous alkali metal halide solutions has at least one electrolysis cell the electrodes of which, separated by a separating wall, are arranged in a housing of two hemispherical shells. The housing is furthermore provided with equipment for the feed of the starting materials for electrolysis, and equipment for the discharge of the electrolysis products. The separating wall is clamped by means of sealing elements between the rims of the hemispherical shells and positioned between power transmission elements of non-conductive material. The electrodes are fastened via spacers to the shells and connected mechanically and electrically with the shells via the rims thereof. The hemispherical shells of adjacent cells are positioned flatwise one upon the other, and the end positioned shells of the electrolysis apparatus are supported by pressure compensation elements.

摘要: This invention relates to an improvement in a circuit arrangement for defined current sharing, between parallel-connected switching regulator modules in DC switching regulators with continuous inductor current and common error amplifiers for the purpose of generating regulated DC voltage from an unregulated voltage source, the improvement comprising means in each switching regulator module, composed of an inductor, a semi-conductor switch, a free-wheeling diode and a pulse-width modulator, whereby for the purpose of controlling the pulse-width modulator a signal proportional to the time-varying inductor current of the individual switching regulator module is negatively fed back to the output signal of the error amplifier, and where the signal resulting therefrom is used to control the pulse-width of the corresponding switching regulator module.

摘要: The electrolysis of aqueous alkali metal chloride solutions under pressure has already been carried out. In accordance with the invention there is applied a pressure of at least 8 bars in the anode space for such an electrolysis, as well as a special process for the work-up of the products of the anode space. The mixture of gas and anolyte leaving the anode space is at first mechanically separated, and the anolyte is then depressurized into a stripping column. In the course of this process a dechlorination and cooling of the anolyte are taking place. The anolyte is to enter the pressure release vessel (stripping column) with a temperature being above the boiling point of the anolyte at atmospheric pressure. The reduced pressure is to be between 2 bars and atmospheric pressure. By means of these measures it may be ensured that the anolyte in the stripping column reaches boiling point. Finally the chlorine set free in the pressure release operation is separated from the anolyte.

摘要: Supporting structure for a large natural draft cooling tower consisting of a central tower support in the form of a hollow column of reinforced concrete and hyperboloid-shaped cooling tower mantle supported by the central tower support with the aid of cables and tie rings at the top and bottom of the cooling tower mantle. The upper tie ring is suspended from the top of the central tower support by means of a series of inclined supporting cables and the lower tie ring is connected to the upper tie ring by means of two sets of oppositely diagonally inclined mantle supporting cables, under a downwardly directed preload, forming a hyperboloid-shaped cable grid. To this grid are attached the section panels of the cooling tower mantle. The cable preload is provided by means of holding cables extending between the lower tie ring and a series of ground anchors, or by means of the diagonally inclined cables themselves which may be attached to the ground anchors. The mantle supporting cables may include a third set of cables in a meridian arrangement or in a concentric circular arrangement. The inclined supporting cables of the upper tie ring carry wind deflector rings.

摘要: A fuel quantity distributor for use in conjunction with multicylinder combustion engines, in which two concentric, radially adjacent metering elements have metering inlet channels. The metering elements are rotatable relative to one another, and the edges of the metering inlet channels intersect each other and open a variable cross-section. The ratio of wetted perimeter to the diameter of the inscribed circle from the idling position to at least the partial load position, is substantially constant when one-third of the maximum cross-section is opened. The ratio does not exceed 6.0 and is measured in the plane of the cross-section.
