    摘要: A multipoint fuel injection system comprises an injection system segment including a circumferentially extending outer support defining a fuel manifold with a plurality of manifold passages extending circumferentially therethrough. A first connector is included at a first circumferential end of the outer support and a second connector is included at a second circumferential end of the outer support opposite the first circumferential end. The first and second connectors are each configured to connect each manifold passage with a manifold passages of a respective outer support of a circumferentially adjacent injection system segment. The system includes a circumferentially extending inner support and a plurality of circumferentially spaced apart feed arms extending radially between the inner support and the outer support. A plurality of outlet openings extend in an axial direction from each feed arm for feeding respective injection nozzles.

    摘要: In a GDI fuel rail mounting system comprising a fuel injection rail, having at least one fuel injector receiving cup with a generally cylindrical shape directly attached to the fuel rail generally perpendicular to and offset from the center of the fuel rail. The fuel rail further comprising at least one generally cylindrical attachment means proximal the fuel injector receiving cup, also attached to the fuel rail offset from the center thereof, the attachment means and the fuel injector receiving cup being disposed generally parallel to each other. A securing strap is attached to the outer curvature of at least one of the injector receiving cup and the attachment means, at least partially wrapping around the outer periphery of the attachment means, thereby inhibiting torsional, lineal, and lateral movement of the injector cup relative to the attachment means and the fuel rail.

The first channel is configured to receive a first fuel and define a flow path for the first fuel. The valve is adapted to direct the second fuel to the first channel when a pressure in the first channel reaches a predetermined level.

    摘要: A fuel injector includes a solenoid operated valve that is opened on a periodic basis to meter fuel through a plurality of discharge passages, and also includes a rectifier valve that allows air to flow through the discharge passages when the solenoid operated valve is closed. The rectifier valve has a disc configuration with a flat valving surface adjacent an air inlet passage and an irregular surface adjacent an air outlet passage. When the solenoid operated valve is opened to meter fuel through the discharge passages, the flat valving surface of the rectifier valve is engaged against a wall about the air inlet passage to seal the air inlet passage. When the solenoid operated valve is closed, the irregular surface of the rectifier valve is engaged against the opposite wall about the air outlet passage and allows air to flow through the air inlet passage and the air outlet passage to the injector discharge passages.
