摘要: The electrolysis apparatus for the manufacture of chlorine from aqueous alkali metal halide solutions has at least one electrolysis cell the electrodes of which, separated by a separating wall, are arranged in a housing of two hemispherical shells. The housing is furthermore provided with equipment for the feed of the starting materials for electrolysis, and equipment for the discharge of the electrolysis products. The separating wall is clamped by means of sealing elements between the rims of the hemispherical shells and positioned between power transmission elements of non-conductive material. The electrodes are fastened via spacers to the shells and connected mechanically and electrically with the shells via the rims thereof. The hemispherical shells of adjacent cells are positioned flatwise one upon the other, and the end positioned shells of the electrolysis apparatus are supported by pressure compensation elements.

摘要: In the electrolysis of an aqueous alkali metal chloride solution, a mixture of anolyte and steam-saturated gaseous chlorine is formed in the anode space of the electrolytic cell. According to the invention, the process is carried out under a pressure of at least 8 bars. For workup, the anolyte is at first separated from the steam-saturated gaseous chlorine which is then liquefied under a pressure of at least 8 bars by cooling. In the course of cooling there is obtained a condensate which consists of a liquid water-saturated chlorine phase and a liquid chlorine-saturated water phase. The temperature of said condensate is not to fall below 28.degree. C. during cooling. Finally, the light-weight water phase is separated from the chlorine phase having a heavier specific weight.

摘要: The electrolysis of aqueous alkali metal chloride solutions under pressure has already been carried out. In accordance with the invention there is applied a pressure of at least 8 bars in the anode space for such an electrolysis, as well as a special process for the work-up of the products of the anode space. The mixture of gas and anolyte leaving the anode space is at first mechanically separated, and the anolyte is then depressurized into a stripping column. In the course of this process a dechlorination and cooling of the anolyte are taking place. The anolyte is to enter the pressure release vessel (stripping column) with a temperature being above the boiling point of the anolyte at atmospheric pressure. The reduced pressure is to be between 2 bars and atmospheric pressure. By means of these measures it may be ensured that the anolyte in the stripping column reaches boiling point. Finally the chlorine set free in the pressure release operation is separated from the anolyte.

Chamber block has chambers arranged in the configuration. Seal has openings arranged in the configuration and attaches to chamber block such that openings align with chambers. First housing houses chamber block and seal such that first housing top wall and chamber block sandwich seal and passages, openings, and chambers align. Second housing has plugs arranged in the configuration. Housings attach together such that first housing side wall and seal sandwich second housing side wall whereby seal seals housings and such that plugs extend into respective sockets in chambers. Electrical leads extend through the aligned passages, openings, and chambers and contact sockets to electrical connect with plugs. The seal simultaneously seals first housing in a region in which leads enter first housing and seals between housings.

摘要: The invention concerns an adjustable hinge that connects two furniture/cabinet components (door and cabinet body) together by means of a cabinet hinge and baseplate. On the cabinet hinge is a spring snap mechanism and connected on it, a hinge arm. This is connected by an adjustment plate with the baseplate and between the hinge arm and adjustment plate, an adjustment screw is located to adjust the both (bilateral) distances. The adjustment screw is screwed through an enclosed elongated hole in the adjustment plate in a thread borehole in the hinge arm. According to the invention, the adjustment screw is designed as a set screw (thread pin), which has on its one end a device for a releasable coupling with a tool and on the other end has a plate with a larger diameter. The bottom surface side of the plate, thus, rests on the baseplate and on the plate's upper surface, the edge of the adjustment plate's elongated hole. It is preferred that the plate's surfaces and the baseplate's surfaces are formed spherical or cone-shaped and that the edge of the elongated hole's edge is strengthened or reinforced. The invention-related adjustable hinge allows the easy, simple, precise and reproducible adjustment of these lateral distances between the door and cabinet without damage to the hinge, while simultaneously, enabling a simpler, easier and cost effective production of the hinge itself.

摘要: A semiconductor memory configuration in a semiconductor substrate includes bit lines, word lines, and memory cells each including one memory capacitor and one MOS selection transistor having two conducting regions and a gate electrode. Each memory capacitor is connected to one of the conducting regions of the transistor. The other of the conducting regions of the transistor is connected to one of the bit lines, and the gate electrode of the transistor is connected to one of the word lines. An insulating field oxide or buried insulating oxide with substantially vertical sidewalls is provided. A trench lies adjacent to the insulating field oxide or buried insulating oxide and adjacent to one of the conducting regions. The capacitors are each disposed in one trench for each memory cell. A first insulating layer covers the inner trench wall surface. A first electrode of the capacitor is disposed perpendicular to the substrate surface on the first insulating layer completely inside the trench. A second insulating layer is disposed on the first electrode. A second electrode is disposed vertically on the second insulating layer in the trench. A contact is connected between the first electrode of the capacitor and one of the conducting regions of the transistor laterally through an opening formed in the first insulating layer on the inner trench wall surface. Methods for producing the semiconductor memory configuration and a memory matrix having at least four of the memory cells, are also provided.

摘要: Thrust-generating device with rocket engines arranged in pairs opposite each other for multiple ignition as well as individual and group activation and with an amount of fuel sufficient for the duration of the mission. The thrust-generating device is designed as a closed, storable, modular unit. The rocket engines are operated with liquid fuel and liquid oxidizing agent. At least one tank is provided for each fuel component. The tanks are in the filled, pressureless state before the activation of the thrust-generating device. The rocket engines and a fuel distributor of block design are integrated within a central bulkhead. The thrust-generating device is surrounded by a sealed outer jacket and is divided by the bulkhead into two separate chambers. The outer jacket is lined on the inside with a "self-sealing" film. The oxidizing agent is stored in one chamber, and the fuel in the other chamber. The empty spaces in the chambers contain an adsorbent filling. A temperature-controlled safety device brings about a pulse-free blow-off of the fuels through at least one pair of engines.
