    Abstract: A map generation apparatus includes: an in-vehicle detection unit configured to detect a situation around a subject vehicle in traveling; and a microprocessor. The microprocessor is configured to perform: extracting one or more feature points from detection data acquired by the in-vehicle detection unit; generating a map using the extracted feature points; dividing an area on the map generated in the generating in a traveling direction of a subject vehicle and dividing the area in the vehicle width direction based on a division line information regarding a division line of a road to form a plurality of divided areas; and correcting a number of feature points for each of the divided areas formed in the dividing. The microprocessor is configured to perform the correcting including reducing the number of feature points based on a distribution of feature points included in each of the divided areas.

    Abstract: Provided is a display device for a watercraft with which a disparity between an operation instruction and an actual speed of the watercraft can be grasped easily. The display device for a watercraft is provided with a first indicator 131 that shows a specified speed based on an operation by a user and a second indicator 132 that shows an actual speed of the watercraft. The first indicator 131 and the second indicator 132 each include a forward indicator 131F, 132F and a reverse indicator 131R, 132R, and the first indicator 131 and the second indicator 132 are displayed in juxtaposition.

    Abstract: A gas turbine engine includes: a turbine wheel and a compressor wheel, coaxially configured and rotating integrally; a rotary shaft, including an outer shaft portion, a penetration portion, and an inner shaft portion; and a thrust cancel disc, provided between inner surfaces of the turbine wheel and the compressor wheel. The compressor wheel has a hollow portion through which the inner shaft portion passes. The turbine wheel has a first thread portion protruding from the inner surface, and at least one end portion of the inner shaft portion has a second thread portion. The thrust cancel disc is connected to the inner surfaces of the turbine wheel and the compressor wheel, respectively. A through hole is provided in a center of the thrust cancel disc, and the first thread portion or the end portion of the inner shaft portion with the second thread portion passes through the through hole.

    Abstract: A vehicle control device includes a storage device storing a program and a hardware processor. The hardware processor executes the program stored in the storage device to perform: acquiring first information on a curved road present in a traveling direction of a vehicle; acquiring second information including an amount of accelerating operation of a driver of the vehicle; performing support control including one or both of deceleration control for decelerating the vehicle such that a speed of the vehicle approaches a target speed based on the first information and notification control for notifying that the speed of the vehicle approaches the target speed when the vehicle is traveling in a section from an entrance of the curved road to a position at a predetermined distance before the entrance or in the curved road; and stopping the support control when the amount of accelerating operation increases by a predetermined amount or more with reference to the second information while the support control is being performed.

    Abstract: An active noise reduction system includes a canceling sound output device configured to output a canceling sound for canceling a noise, a noise signal generator configured to generate noise signals based on the noise, and a controller configured to control the canceling sound output device based on the noise signals, wherein the controller is configured to acquire buffer data in which the noise signals are stored in a time series, generate a plurality of divided data by dividing the buffer data, calculate a correlation value of the buffer data based on the plurality of divided data, detect presence/absence of disturbance mixed in the buffer data based on the correlation value, and switch control over the canceling sound output device according to the presence/absence of the disturbance mixed in the buffer data.
