    Abstract: The invention relates to a floor treatment system with a self-propelled and self-steering floor treatment unit, which comprises an electrically driven floor treatment assembly and also a rechargeable power supply unit, and with a central charging station for recharging the power supply unit, the floor treatment unit being capable of being electrically connected to the charging station by means of electrical connecting elements that are associated with one another and are disposed on the charging station and the floor treatment unit. In order to develop the floor treatment system in such a way that improved electrical coupling of the connecting elements that are associated with one another is made possible, it is proposed according to the invention that at least one of the connecting elements that are associated with one another is mounted in a sprung manner.

    Abstract: A controlled self operating vacuum cleaning system which comprises a stationary housing for the storage of a mobile vacuum cleaner apparatus and where the housing is provided with an automatically openable and closable closure allowing exit and entry of the mobile vacuum cleaner unit. The mobile unit is driven by an internal drive motor which is powered by one or more batteries carried by the mobile vacuum cleaner unit. At preestablished times and preestablished time intervals, the closure of the housing will automatically open providing for ingress and egress and the mobile vacuum cleaner unit will exit and randomly clean the carpet of a certain specified area for a predetermined time period. The mobile vacuum cleaner unit is provided with obstacle detectors for causing the mobile unit to move beyond an obstacle, if it contacts an obstacle, as well as detectors for detecting the edge of a staircase and the edge of a carpet to cause the mobile unit to remain on the carpeted area. Upon return to the housing after the predetermined time interval, the mobile vacuum cleaner unit is automatically connected to a recharging electrical circuit for recharging the batteries of the mobile vacuum cleaner unit and simultaneously an additional vacuum dirt collection system causes evacuation of the dirt collected by the mobile cleaner unit.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a cleaner station including: a collector which is attachably and detachably coupled to the inside of a housing and collects dust within a dust bin of a cleaner; and a dust collection motor which is received within the housing, is disposed below the collector, and generates a suction force for sucking the dust within the dust bin. The collector includes: a collector body in which dust is collected; a collector cover which is coupled to a top of the collector body and comprises a dust inlet formed therein into which air containing dust is introduced; and a collector flow path which is disposed within the collector body and guides the air which has passed through the dust separator to the dust collection motor. Accordingly, the bin-type collector is applied and the flow path through which the dust flows can be formed in a direction perpendicular to the ground. Also, a flow path is provided within the collector, so that a space for storing the dust can be maximized.

    Abstract: Provided are an operation control method of a dual washing machine, an electric appliance, and a dual washing machine. The operation control method of the dual washing machine includes: obtaining an in-base-station operation request of a floor cleaner; obtaining a predetermined operation characteristic of a clothes treatment device; and controlling, in accordance with the predetermined operation characteristic, whether the floor cleaner operates based on the in-base-station operation request. A base station of the floor cleaner is located in a space below the clothes treatment device. Mutual transmission of signals can be performed between the floor cleaner and the clothes treatment device. When it is determined that the operation process of the clothes treatment device may affect the operation performance of the floor cleaner based on the predetermined operation characteristic of the clothes treatment device, the floor cleaner can be controlled to prohibit operation based on the in-base-station operation request.
