    摘要: A treadmill includes a body having a belt for supporting an exerciser, an exerciser detecting portion installed in a predetermined area of the body to detect movement of the exerciser, a driving motor coupled to the body to drive the belt, a control portion for generating a first control signal for adjusting a rotation speed of the driving motor based on a signal received from the exerciser detecting portion, a motor driving portion for adjusting the rotation speed of the driving motor according to the first control signal received from the control portion, and an electrical braking portion for reducing the rotation speed of the driving motor. The treadmill quickly follows acceleration or deceleration of an exerciser; provides an experience as if the exerciser is exercising on the ground, thereby improve an exerciser's exercising experience; accepts various exercising patterns of an exerciser; resolves a problem in that a motor driving portion is tripped due to a load caused by quick deceleration; and preprocesses measured values of an exerciser's position to resolve a problem in that a speed of a belt cannot be controlled due to measurement errors contained in measured values.

    摘要: An exercise device configured to sense and respond to objects in proximity to the exercise device is provided. The device includes a sensor configured to sense objects in proximity to the exercise device other than the user who is operating the exercise device. A console is in communication with the sensor that instructs components of the treadmill to provide, for example, an audible and/or visual response to the user of the exercise device, or to slow or stop the exercise device from moving. Sensors that are capable of sensing whether objects are within different spatial zones of proximity are disclosed. Multiple pre-defined and/or user-defined responses to objects detected in multiple corresponding spatial zones of proximity are also disclosed herein.

    摘要: An electronic golf swing analyzing system that uses an array of infrared (IR) and ultrasonic (U/S) sensors, activated by an embedded micro-controller, to capture swing data to accurately calculate the club head's velocity, face angle, and swing path at impact. The system also includes a golf swing analyzing software application that receives the data from the analyzer to determine the distance and direction that the ball will travel relative to the target line. During use, the IR sensor base is placed horizontally and the U/S sensor base is positioned vertically. The player selects one of three available practice modes, which determines how the trajectory data for each swing is visually displayed. The player selects a golf club, enters golf ball information, and environmental conditions information. Trajectory results for each swing are graphically displayed relative to the players stated ability level on the computer monitor.

    摘要: An apparatus for playing a golf game based on the momentum of propelled golf balls. The apparatus includes a golf tee from which golf balls are hit, an upright target for halting the balls propelled from the tee, and a ball momentum determining and indicating package for providing a numerical momentum magnitude representation for each ball propelled toward the target with either tee or fairway type golf clubs. The ball momentum determining and indicating package includes a time sequence signal producing device for providing a discrete sequence of intermittent timed signals based on ball traverse time from tee to target, a numeric indicating device for translating the intermittent timed signals to provide ball momentum magnitude representation, a sensing device disposed with respect to the tee for activating the time sequence signal producing device when a ball is dislodged from the tee, and sensing units disposed with respect to the target for de-activating the time sequence signal producing device when a ball hits the target. For playing the game, each player hits a predetermined number of balls with each predetermined type of club. The resulting score of each shot is displayed on the numeric indicating device situated on a score table located at the golf tee area.
