摘要： A method associated for treating a precoat on a rotating filtering surface of lime sludge filter including: accumulating a precoat of lime sludge on the filtering surface by rotating the filtering surface in a first direction through a lime sludge slurry; after accumulating the precoat, rotating the filtering surface in an opposite direction to the first direction; while rotating the filtering surface in the opposite direction, spraying a liquid onto the precoat on the filtering surface wherein the spraying is applied to the precoat above a scraper adjacent the filtering surface and the spraying removes at least a portion of the precoat from the filtering surface, and flowing the removed precoat over the scraper and into a basin.

The frame includes a frame aperture wherein the frame aperture and the cavity form a volume having a cross sectional area sized substantially equal to or greater than the drum aperture and wherein said volume extends to a second pair of filter panels to enable liquid and trash which pass through the drum aperture to also pass through the frame aperture to the second pair of filter panels.

摘要： The disc filter apparatus comprises a drum that is rotatable around a shaft having a centre axis. The drum comprises filter discs positioned at an axial distance from each other. Each filter disc comprises a rim structure supported on the shaft and truncated, sector shaped filter plates mounted circumferentially in a radial plane to form an essentially continuous and planar disc surface. Each filter plate is attached with a fastening arrangement to the rim structure from a lower edge portion of the filter plate through at least three fastening points. The fastening arrangement between the filter plate and the rim structure comprises at each fastening point in the rim structure an adjustable sleeve construction. Prior art solutions require a radially planar fastening surface in the rim structure in order to have all the filter plates in one filter disc in the same radial plane. This is not necessary in the invention due to the use of an adjustable sleeve construction.

The filtered-water pipe extends throughout the tank and is connected to the driving unit. The filtering unit includes flat filtering bags located around the filtered-water pipe. The flat filtering bags can be spun together with the filtered-water pipe. The scraping unit includes scrapper assemblies each located between and in contact with two adjacent ones of the flat filtering bags.
