    摘要: A shaker separates components of a slurry. The shaker has a screen with a pressure differential applied to the screen to remove a portion of a slurry. The pressure differential across the screen can be toggled or pulsed. Generally, various types of separators are used to separate liquids and solids. For example, oil-field drilling operations use separators with screens to remove solids from a slurry. One type of apparatus used to remove solids from drilling mud is commonly referred to in the industry as a “shale shaker.”

    摘要: A liquid removal apparatus adapted to separate liquid from a composite slurry of liquid and solids. The apparatus includes a movable, permeable membrane having opposing first and second sides. A ‘loaded belt portion’ of the second side is configured to receive the slurry. A permeable membrane support system is configured to provide movable support for the loaded belt portion and includes a transport deck located in contact with the first side of the permeable membrane below the loaded belt portion. The liquid removal apparatus has a housing with a low-pressure chamber in sealing contact with the first side of the permeable membrane. A pressure conditioning system applies a differential pressure via the housing to generate a lower pressure on the first filter belt side than on the second side. The transport deck is located within the low pressure chamber.

    摘要: A screening system comprises a tank (20) containing a sewage screen (30), wherein the tank is configured for attachment to a sewage channel, and to receive sewage flow from an upstream point of the channel, and then to direct the sewage flow through the sewage screen (30), and then to return the screened sewage flow back into the channel, at a downstream point, or directly to a downstream treatment, and wherein the tank (20) is configured to decrease the velocity of the sewage flow in the tank relative to the channel, such that grit can settle at the bottom of the tank, and wherein the sewage screen (30) comprises a working screening surface (31), a portion of which lies in a substantially horizontal plane, and is positioned below the invert level of the sewage channel at the upstream point, when in use. Screen and tank used within the before mentioned system as well as the method of screening sewage using the system are also disclosed.

    摘要: A filtering system used on a meat injection machine that injects pickling into meat products. The filter consists of a tank and a first and second rotary filter. The first rotary filter uses a wedge wire wound cylinder and augers having flutes that rotate to catch and push away solid particles toward the second filter. The second filter then uses more wedge wire in a whirlpool effect to ensure all solid materials and foam are in the outside of the filter. Injector fluid is then taken from the center of the inside volume of the second filter to be used in injection needles.
