摘要： A specialty food-processing knife includes a rigid handle, a circular blade axis, a blade axis holder, a blade axis holder lock, and a blade axis safety cover. The handle provides a blade axis upper housing to cut protect the user's hand and is configured with guide grooves, coupling pivot holes, and a guide tunnel. The guide grooves restrict the blade axis movement to a circular motion, the pivot holes allow swiveling of the blade axis holder, and the guide tunnel provides unidirectional motion to the blade axis holder lock. The blade axis is composed of several parallel circular blades, which are held in position by spacer bushings and lock nuts that encapsulate a stiffener rod. The blade axis holder presents a parallel slotted array to prevent food fragments from entering the blade axis housing and allow the axis blades to be partially exposed and rotate freely. The blade axis holder lock includes barriers, which limit the lock to an open or closed position. The blade axis cover has a locating lip that allows coupling with the knife handle.

The second part is joinable with the first part to secure the head portion to the attachment arm, and the second part is separable from the first part to detach the head portion from the attachment arm. When the head portion is detached, one of a plurality of alternate head portions may be secured to the attachment arm.

摘要： A multiple use rotary cutting device having an accessory cutting mechanism for use with prepackaged food products such as pizza. The rotary cutting device provides multiple functions which enhance the convenience of use. The device further minimizes the quantity of devices which must be cleaned after use. The multiple use rotary cutting device has a cutting wheel; a frame member with a lower portion having a accessory cutting surface; a handle assembly comprising a handle cover and a handle for partially enclosing the lower portion of the frame member; and a retracting assembly, which in combination with the handle is capable of completely enclosing the lower portion of the frame member. The accessory cutting mechanism is capable of cutting open a prepackaged food product and the rotary cutting wheel is capable of cutting or slicing the food product itself. When the retracting assembly is compressed, the lower portion of the frame member which is not enclosed by the handle is thereby exposed and provides an accessory cutting mechanism upon demand.
