    摘要: The invention is a method and measuring device configured for measurement by comparing the an area of interest or object with an object of comparable size and/or shape. This invention may be most useful when recording and classifying evidence. The measuring device should be portable and comprised of a flat, straight elongated member with measuring indicia along one or both the measuring edges, wherein the measuring indicia corresponds with values with labels of the standard sizes of comparable objects. The measuring indicia extends along the length of the measuring edge and the labels indicate the closest sized object. Other measuring indicia along the length of the measuring edge may also correspond to standard measurement units. The method should directly correlate a measurement with a comparable object for the purpose of recording evidence.

    摘要: The invention is a method and measuring device configured for measurement by comparing the an area of interest or object with an object of comparable size and/or shape. This invention may be most useful when recording and classifying evidence.     摘要: This invention provides a standard member allowing magnification calibration for use in an electron microscope to be performed with high precision. A (110) or (100) oriented silicon substrate including a magnification calibration pattern comprised of a constant pitch periodic pattern and a (110) or (100) oriented silicon substrate not including the constant pitch periodic pattern are bonded together by means of bonding without using an adhesive agent, while aligning the plane directions of the surfaces of the two substrates in the same orientation. Then, the thus bonded substrates are cleaved or diced so that their (111) surfaces or (110) surfaces become cross-section surfaces. Further, by selectively etching one side of the constant pitch periodic pattern, a standard member with no level difference and no damage to superlattice patterns and having a constant pitch concavity and convexity periodic pattern in a cross-section surface vertical to the substrate surface is created.

Protrusions extend below the bottom surface a sufficient distance from the bottom surface to facilitate movement of the material alignment device. A plurality of accessories adds width to the planer structure, adds length to the planer structure, provides a safety barrier when cutting along an edge and provides a slot for guiding cutting along an edge of the planer structure.

    摘要: A scale of a hand tool includes a first end formed as a head having a fixed jaw integrally extending therefrom and a movable jaw movably mounted in the head. Two opposite surfaces are respectively formed on both sides of the head and each surface has an edge adjacent to the movable jaw. A series of scale lines is formed on each of the two surfaces. Each of the scale lines forms an angle with the edge of the surface and the angle is less than 90°. A scale numeral is respectively disposed near the distal end of each of the scale lines and is perpendicular relative to each of scale lines. An indicator is disposed on the movable jaw for pointing out a corresponding scale numeral of the scale lines. A handle is formed as the second end.

    摘要: A positioning scale device includes a main scale body (1), a stationary positioning portion (2), at least a moving positioning portion (3), and at least a direction indicating portion (4). The main scale body (1) has at least a guiding slot (11); the stationary positioning portion (2) being positioned on the main scale body (1) is adjacent to an end of the guiding slot (11); the moving positioning portion (3) being positioned in the guiding slot (11) is capable of fixing at a location of the guiding slot (11); while the direction indicating portion (4) being positioned on the main scale body (1) forms a predetermined angle with respect to the extended direction of the guiding slot (11). By the use of the direction indicating portions (4), one is capable of assuring relationship between the “object to be measured” and the horizontal direction. Therefore, the positioning scale device of the invention is capable of achieving the efficacy of duplicating the same status as that of the “object to be measured”.
