    摘要: A method for assessing the state of a pressing punch of a rotary includes providing the pressing punch having a punch head configured to interact with a pressure apparatus of the rotary press during operation and a punch tip arranged at another end of the punch shaft and configured to press a material in a cavity of a die plate of the rotary press. An image of at least one portion of the pressing punch is recorded using a camera. The recorded image is transmitted to an evaluation apparatus. A state analysis of the at least one portion is performed by the evaluation apparatus using an image processing algorithm. A state of the pressing punch is assessed by the evaluation apparatus based on the state analysis. A warning signal is output when the assessed state of the pressing punch is outside of a permissible range.

Image data relating to a machine tool and/or workpiece is derived and processed to determine information regarding the tool and/or tool position and/or extent of work carried out on the workpiece. A screen, such as a shadow screen, can be used to form an image of a profile of the tool tip and end of the workpiece. Tool tip position and extent of work on the workpiece can be derived from the image. Certain aspects are directed to a safety system application for halting a machine or tool when a light beam is interrupted, and can provide progressive muting of beam interruption detection, such as by systematically disregarding or muting signals from rows of receiver array elements as the beam passes through a mute point ahead of a tool.

A system can monitor, under a security condition, a storage receptacle having a security plate being positioned over a door on the storage receptacle, the door including an insertion point for storing contents on the storage receptacle, and the security plate being configured to block an opening of the door to prevent insertion of additional contents in the storage receptacle. Next, the system can receive a signal indicating a security breach at the storage receptacle, the security breach including at least one of a first attempt to open the door and a second attempt to remove the security plate. In response to the signal, the system can then generate a notification of the security breach.

    摘要: Method and Apparatus for fabricating a spacer frame for use in an insulating glass unit. One of a multiple number of possible spacer frame materials is chosen for the spacer frame. An elongated strip of the material is moved to a notching station where notches are formed at corner locations. The character of the notches is adjusted based on the selection of the metal strip material and more particularly to achieve bending of the material hi an repeatable, straightforward manner. Better control over the notching process is also achieved by exhaust row control of a double acting cylinder. A positioning spacer achieve very accurate side to side positioning of a die and anvil to precisely notch and deform the metal strip. Downstream from the notching station the metal strip is to bent into a channel shaped elongated frame member having side walls. Further downstream leading strip of channel shaped material is severed or separated from succeeding material still passing through the notching and bending station.
