Abstract:
A transporting element for accommodating and for transporting spherical, cylindrical or egg-shaped articles, in particular foodstuffs, in particular eggs, along a conveying route, has a plurality of mounts arranged one beside the other along the longitudinal extent. The transporting element is designed in the form of a channel-like body with an accommodating space curved in the form of part of a circle, as seen in cross section, and encloses an angle of at least 180°. The mounts are designed in the form of slot-form apertures in that region of the channel-like body that is curved in the form of part of a circle. The apertures extending parallel to one another, and transversely to the longitudinal extent of the channel-like body, as far as longitudinal crosspieces on either side, these forming a respective longitudinal periphery.
Abstract:
An egg chain gripper actuating device for use with an egg transfer device. The device has an egg conveyor with parallel egg chains movable in a transport direction, each chain supporting egg grippers, which can be individually actuated. The device further comprises an egg receiving unit with a receiving area for receiving eggs released by the egg grippers, and one group of one or more actuators for each egg chain for selectively actuating passing egg grippers. Multiple support frames are provided, each supporting one or more groups of actuators. At least one frame is adjustable parallel to the transport direction and relative to another frame, such that the position of the actuators of the one or more groups supported by the frame can be adjusted relative to the position of the one of more actuators of the one or more groups supported by the other frame.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for manipulation of eggs, particularly (though not exclusively) removal of eggs from a crate, at least comprising a gripper. The present invention relates to a device which comprises: —the at least one gripper (9) which is configured to grip the egg and which comprises at least two legs (14), these legs being designed to grip round the egg. The device comprises here at least one upward pusher (8) which is configured to push up the at least one of the eggs out of the egg drawer, container or crate with receiving locations for accommodating at least one of the eggs each, wherein the at least one gripper (9) is configured to grip the egg pushed up by the pusher (8), wherein the pusher (8) comprises a base (15) for supporting an egg and at least one arm (16) reciprocally movable along the base (15) for aligning an egg accommodated on the base. Use can alternatively or additionally be made within the scope of the disclosed invention of a carrier template.
Abstract:
A egg belt comprises a belt extending in a conveying direction for conveying eggs in the conveying direction. The belt is provided with a plurality of openings, each being triangular in shape.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for transporting a stack formed of a plurality of open egg cartons, which are arranged on top of one another and filled with fresh eggs, to a separating device for the egg cartons and to a stacking device for the emptied egg cartons, wherein said transport device is to be designed such that the stacks formed of the egg cartons can be transported without damaging fresh eggs, regardless of the nature of the stacks, and moreover de-stacking can be carried out without manual activities. According to the invention, the stacks formed by egg cartons arranged on top of one another are transported on platforms (11) to a destacking station (15) in order to support the respective bottom egg carton in the stack over the entire surface area. For this purpose, the respective bottom egg carton of the stack rests on support panels (12) provided with centering elements (14), which positively engage in the respective bottom egg carton in the stack from the lower face. The device according to the invention is particularly suited to separate the egg cartons which are transported away from a refrigerated warehouse and filled with fresh eggs and to subsequently empty said cartons.
Abstract:
An egg transport system has an egg transport module (10) where eggs are stored on a plurality of shelves (20) on a transportable frame (30) with wheels (11).The module (10) is loaded or unloaded by a loader (50, 150) and unloader (70), both of which can be vertical aligned to enable loading/unloading of a selected one of the shelves (20).
Abstract:
A conveying device for conveying substantially round objects, such as eggs or fruit. The conveyor device has a roller conveyor with an endless transport element and successive rows of one or more rollers An object receiving space for receiving an object is delimited by two successive rollers. The roller conveyor has a discharge end where said objects are discharged by falling from said roller conveyor. The conveyor device furthermore has a second conveyor with an endless element and successive rows of one or more object holders, each object holder having an opening allowing to receive an object thereinThe second conveyor has a receiving end which is positioned in line with the discharge end of the roller conveyor so as to receive objects discharged by falling from the roller conveyor in the object holders of the second conveyor.
Abstract:
A conveyor for shock-sensitive products includes a conveyor member with at least one intermediate storage region adapted to receive a predetermined number of the products placed thereon when the conveyor is a static condition for temporary intermediate storage. A force measuring member determines the weight force of the products in the intermediate storage region. A control member, adapted to increase and decrease the rate of feed of the shock-sensitive products in the conveyor member, processes the weight force detected by the force measuring member as an input parameter, and increases or reduces the rate of feed of the products toward and away from the intermediate storage region as a function of the weight force.
Abstract:
An end of arm tool that is capable of handling fragile items such as eggs that are packaged in containers (e.g., egg cartons) that require special handling is provided. The end of arm tool comprises vacuum cup assemblies to grip the top surfaces of the packages, clamp fingers to clamp the edges of the packages, and optionally a pusher assembly to release the packages from the clamp fingers. In addition, a method of loading packages into cases using the end of arm tool apparatus of the present invention is provided. A gripper may be provided to place divider sheets between packages in the cases.
