During the normal revolution of the conveyor chain, cleaning of the conveyor chain is carried out even during running operation of the conveying system by means of ultrasound and suitable cleaning agent. A conveyor chain having a multiplicity of rods that are connected to one another via chain links is transported in individual conveying segments of the conveyor. Lying on the conveyor chain, the agricultural products are transported. Deposits of contaminants onto the conveyor unavoidably occur during operation, such as, in particular, as a result of litter or feathers.

An upper conveyor deflector deflects the conveyor member from the upward to the downward section. The compartment includes a first support surface configured for supporting the product in the upwardly directed conveyor section, as well as a second support surface configured for supporting the product in a downwardly directed conveyor section. The compartment also includes a bottom surface that supports the product during movement of the conveyor member over the upper conveyor deflector. The bottom surface has a curved shape, so that when passing over the upper deflector, the product deposited in the compartment is guided smoothly and gently along the bottom surface from the first support surface to the second support surface, such that critically damaging shock forces to the product are avoided.

摘要： A device is provided for counting moving objects, such as eggs lying on a moving conveyor belt. This device comprises a lever which can be moved by the moving objects, a signalling element for generating a detectable signal as a response to a movement of the lever, and a coupling and resetting mechanism for transmitting the movement of the lever to the signalling element and for automatically resetting both the lever and the signalling element during a decrease in the size of the portion of a moving object which is in contact with the lever, after a preceding increase thereof and the associated generation of a signal. The coupling and resetting mechanism comprises an essentially cylindrical drum which is rotatable about a shaft and which is provided with a projecting part extending essentially in a radial direction for operating the signalling element. A cord is looped round the drum. One end of the cord is attached to an extension piece of the lever and the other end is attached to an elastically deformable element for tensioning the cord around the drum. The cord is able to slip over the outside surface of the drum with friction.

The apparatus includes a collector conveyor belt for receiving the eggs from egg cages, and a ramp conveyor belt for de-escalating the eggs from the collector conveyor. The cage bottoms are extended to provide a trough in which the collector conveyor belt is carried. Opposite the cages, strips of low-friction material act as bumpers to maintain without damage eggs upon the collector conveyor. A diagonal fence is provided above the collector-ramp belt conveyor junction point to encourage easy, undamaged egg transfer action from the collector to the ramp conveyor. Resilient fingers mounted in rows upon the ramp conveyor encourage undamaged egg de-escalation. An accumulator belt conveyor receives the eggs from the ramp conveyor and carries the eggs to an accumulation point.
