    摘要： In a glass-metal structure for a front wall or a roof of a building, comprising a metal framework and glass panels, the framework is formed of hollow elongated main frame sections and hollow elongated crossbar frame sections extending transversally of the main frame sections. Cover plates overlapping the edges of the glass panels are screwed by bolts to the frame sections. Each frame section and each cover plate is provided with anchoring grooves receiving sealing strips. Each frame section has gutters for condensed water and grooves for percolating waters. Each crossbar frame section has a main hollow chamber and an additional hollow chamber formed between the gutters of the crossbar frame section.

    摘要： A skylight system is formed of preglazed modules which are arranged side-by-side in a grid-like array which is supported on an underlying beam structure. The preglazed modules have slideably interfitting edges for joining to adjacent modules along all four sides of each module. The preferred modules are attached and are supported on corners thereof to the underlying beam structure. The interfitted edges allow slight relative shifting to accommodate expansion or contraction due to thermal conditions. Preferably, the modules may be supported and arrayed to define a flat surface or a predetermined curvature for the skylight. Broken glazing panels may be replaced in a given preglazed module. Gutters on adjacent modules are joined to provide a continuous moisture removal system.

    摘要： A modular skylight system comprises a continuous sill for supporting a lower edge of a plurality of panel frames, each pre-assembled and having a lower edge member interlocked on the sill. Each frame includes a pair of upwardly sloping side frame members adapted to be secured and interlocked to those of adjacent members and attached at their lower ends to the lower edge member. All of the frame members include an elongated glazing pocket for receiving an edge portion of a glazing panel and they also provide gutter structure for collecting liquid from the glazing panel and for carrying the liquid down to the sill for discharge therefrom.

    摘要： A structural mounting connector or spigot for mounting a glazing frame section to a structure. The connector has a mounting section receivable within a void or hollow end of a glazing frame section, which mounting section has an upper flange or surface and a lower flange or surface for accepting vertical fasteners such as screws or pins which attach the connector to the glazing frame section. The connector also has a connecting web between the top and bottom flanges which contain elongated cavities or passageways for receiving other fasteners, such as screws or bolts, by which the mounting spigot section is affixed to a structure. The connecting web has projections which have guide means to guide the vertical screws or pins between the top and bottom flanges portions such that the mounting spigot section is connectable to the glazing frame section and the glazing frame section to the structure, with the mounting spigot section and fasteners being concealed in the glazing frame section. The mounting spigot section is able to be cut to length and shape by a single cut taken in the same plane as the cut in the glazing frame section to produce an angled join of the glazing frame section to and flush with the structure.
