    摘要: A novel design for the connection of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) casing. Each length of casing has a male end and a female end. The female end has a narrowing interior diameter with its wider interior diameter at its outermost end sufficient to receive the male end of similar length of casing for connection. The diameter of the female end narrows to a diameter which is less than the outer diameter of the male end. The male end has a lip at its leading edge and is slotted and compressible when forced through the narrowed diameter of the female end. A groove in the interior surface of the female end is sufficient to receive the lip at the leading edge of the male end. When the lip at the leading edge of the male end reaches the groove, it allows the compressed male end to expand with the groove receiving the lip therein. The connected lengths of casing are locked together in this manner.

The disconnect tool comprises a first member having a first front portion, a first rear portion, a first middle portion and a first channel disposed through the first front portion, the first rear portion and the first middle portion. The disconnect tool further comprises a second member having a second front portion, a second rear portion, a second middle portion and a second channel disposed through the second front portion, the second rear portion and the second middle portion. The second channel aligns with the first channel wherein second middle portion contacts an outer collet surface of the collet such that the second middle portion forces the outer collet surface against a forward end of the fitting to axially drive the collet inwardly against the fitting in order to release the tubing end from the collet.

    摘要: A quick connector includes: a cylindrical connector housing having a tube connecting portion and a pipe retainer portion that has a retainer; and an annular seal member fitted on an inner circumferential surface of the connector housing. The retainer is integrally formed with the pipe retainer portion and having an engagement portion projecting toward the interior of the pipe retainer portion, and a disengagement operating portion adapted to move the engagement portion radially outwardly. The connector housing is formed by engaging with each other other end side in an axial direction of a tube side member having the tube connecting portion, and one end side in the axial direction of a pipe side member having the pipe retainer portion. The annular seal member is axially positioned in an annular recess formed in the connector housing when the tube side member and the pipe side member are engaged with each other.

The leg segment (78) is defined by a pair of projecting elements (163) which are at least partially compressible toward one another thereby causing the pair of waist segments (76 and 81) to move toward one another. Thus, a swivellable connection is made which has the equivalent length and diameter of a convention non-swivellable threaded coupling. The quick connector (10) may be released by hand or a snap ring tool inserted into holes (410).

    摘要: A quick connector for connecting fluid lines includes a first connector having a housing for receiving a tube carrying spool. The spool sealingly engages an endform on the tube to form a metal-to-metal seal. A retainer in the form of ring having a plurality of angularly and radially extending, resilient legs extending therefrom and terminating in end pads is mountable in the housing in engagement with the spool with the end pads disposed in an annular, inward facing channel in the housing. A pop top is slidable along the tube to bias the retainer legs radially inward to allow insertion of the retainer into the bore in the housing and then is removed to allow the legs to snap radially outward bringing the end pads into engagement with housing channel. An assurance clip is mountable interiorly between the legs of the retainer and the spool to maintain the retainer legs in a radially outward position in engagement with the channel in the housing.
