摘要: The disclosed technology relates to a system configured to detect a delete event for a content item at a first location on a local file system of a client device, wherein the first location on the file system is managed by a content management service. The system determines a second location for the content item and whether the delete event is associated with an add event for the content item based on the second location of the content item. If the delete event is associated with the add event, the system processes the delete event with the add event in a unitary update to a local tree, wherein the local tree represents a file system state.

摘要: A client can allocate and reassociate unique identifiers to local content items associated with an account at a content management system, and use the unique identifiers to commit operations for the content items on the content management system. For example, a client can create a content item and determine the content item does not have an identifier from the content management system. The client obtains an identifier for the content item and asks the content management system to verify a uniqueness of the identifier. When the identifier is unique, the client adds a node corresponding to the content item to a local tree representing a state at the client of content items associated with the account, and uploads the content item with the identifier to the content management system. When the identifier is not unique, the client obtains a new identifier for the content item.

摘要: The disclosed technology relates to a system configured to detect a modification to a node in a tree data structure. The node is associated with a content item managed by a content management service as well as a filename. The system may append the filename and a separator to a filename array, determine a location of the filename in the filename array, and store the location of the filename in the node.

摘要: The present technology pertains to a organization directory hosted by a synchronized content management system. The corporate directory can provide access to user accounts for all members of the organization to all content items in the organization directory on the respective file systems of the members' client devices. Members can reach any content item at the same path as other members relative to the organization directory root on their respective client device. In some embodiments novel access permissions are granted to maintain path consistency.

摘要: A method for execution by a rebuilding module includes detecting that less than a pillar width number of encoded data slices of a common revision are retrievable from a set of storage units. A decode threshold number of encoded data slices are retrieved and decoded to reproduce a data segment. The data segment is encoded to produce at least one encoded data slice and storage of the at least one encoded data slice in the set of storage units is facilitated in accordance with the common revision when determining to rebuild the at least one encoded data slice. The data segment is encoded to reproduce the set of encoded data slices and storage of the reproduced set of encoded data slices is facilitated in the set of storage units in accordance with a new revision when determining to not rebuild the at least one encoded data slice.

摘要: A metadata storage method, device, and a server are disclosed. The method includes: obtaining a metadata to be processed from the preset metadata storage system or from external of the preset metadata storage system; determining a type of metadata to be processed; processing the metadata to be processed to obtain a new metadata in a storage format corresponding to the type of metadata to be processed, wherein the storage formats correspond to different types of metadata to be processed and comprise at least one identical information kind for different types of metadata; and storing the new metadata in the preset metadata storage system. Thus a search for a metadata can be performed through a unified interface in a search engine, which is convenient to use.

摘要: A method for use in a computing device having a storage arranged in accordance with a local file system to seamlessly access information for files of a cloud storage system (CSS), the storage being separate from the CSS. The method comprises: receiving, by the computing device, metadata for at least one directory of the CSS; creating in the local file system, based on the received metadata for the at least one directory, a directory structure consisting of at least one directory, the directory structure being in correspondence with the structure of the at least one directory of the CSS for which the metadata was received; and upon receiving a request for a listing of a directory in the CSS, providing the directory listing directly, based on the directory structure of the local file system, for directories of the CSS for which, and to the extent, that metadata was received.

摘要: Techniques to perform event-based synchronization of data are disclosed. In various embodiments, an indication is received, during the course of performing a synchronization event-based synchronization with a synchronization client, that a user of the synchronization client has provided an input associated with a request to access a file or other object the changes to which have not yet been downloaded completely to the synchronization client. Download of the changes to the file other object with respect to which the input associated with a request to access is associated is reprioritized, to enable the synchronization client to provide access to the file or other object more quickly than would have been possible without the reprioritization.
