    摘要: An electronic component includes a main body section having a rectangular parallelepiped shape and a plurality of terminal portions having different rigidities. A housing member includes a first housing chamber that guides and receives the main body section therein and a second housing chamber that receives and holds terminal fittings therein, the first housing chamber is formed by surrounding four sides thereof with a frame-like wall portion rising upright from a bottom portion, and the second housing chamber is formed outside the wall portion. Each terminal portion includes a base end and a fitting portion that extends from a protruding tip of the base end along a side surface of the main body section with a gap from the side surface and that is fitted to the corresponding terminal fitting.

    摘要: An electrical module arrangement for supplying electrical power to a printed circuit board mounted within the housing of an electrical module, including a plug-in electrical connector mounted in an opening contained in an end wall of the module housing. The connector is of the conductive leaf spring S-shaped type, including two reversely-bent portions defining oppositely directed recesses for receiving a bus bar voltage source and a planar contact of the printed circuit board, respectively. In a modification, the leaf spring is W-shaped including three bends, thereby permitting connection of the PCB contact with two separate parallel spaced bus bar arrangements. A plurality of the modules are supported in side-by-side relation either by mounting the module housings on a common mounting rail, or by connecting the plug-in connectors to a common bus bar mounted on a fixed support.

A first stationary connector is coupled to a first rigid circuit board positioned within a first housing of a first modular electrical device. The first floating connector is coupled to a flexible circuit element positioned within a second housing of a second modular electrical device, the flexible circuit element coupled to a circuit board positioned within a second housing of a second modular electrical device. The second housing includes a first latch plate adjustable between an unlatched position and a latched position, the first latch plate including a biasing member, such that, when the first modular electronic device is pressed together with the second modular electronic device, the biasing member applies a force to the first floating connector during a latch plate transition position to ensure that the first floating connector has fully mated with the first stationary connector.
