    摘要: An oscillator for reciprocating tools or other devices. Driving sprockets are mounted for rotation on a frame or in a housing and a pair of driven sprockets are mounted on the frame, each to be driven by a respective driving sprocket. The driven sprockets are outwardly of the driving sprockets, all sprockets having their axes in the same plane. Eccentrically mounted masses are on the shafts of the driven sprockets which when rotated generate forces on the axes of the driven sprockets. These forces are transmitted to the frame through shafts of the driven sprockets. A couple is generated about the axis of the driving sprocket causing the frame to oscillate. A tool attached to the lower end of the frame is thereby reciprocated.

    摘要: Remoldable panels are produced by continuously plastifying and extruding an at least partially aggregated particulate mixture comprising about 40 to about 60% by weight of thermoplastic resin, preferably polypropylene, and about 60 to about 40% by weight of a particulate organic and preferably cellulosic filler such as wood particles, and rolling the web of extruded material prior to its solidification. The extruded and rolled web is cut to panels which can be used, for example, in the production of shaped articles such as dash boards or other components of automotive vehicles, furniture or parts thereof and the like, by pressing at elevated temperature or by other remolding methods conventionally used in the art of processing thermoplastic materials. Alternatively, the panels can be used for purposes where wood panels or ply-wood are normally employed.

    摘要: A pair of cooperating elongated cutting members is mounted on the frame of a harvester for reciprocation along a common plane located intermediate the cutting members by means of arms pivotally connected to the frame and to the cutting members. A lever is pivoted to each of the cutting members and to the frame and has the same effective length as the associated arm, the pivot points of the associated arm and lever being located in the corners of an imaginary parallelogram. A crank drive moves a pair of connecting rods which are articulated to the respective levers intermediate the pivot points thereof. The cutting members have a plurality of recesses which are laterally bounded by cutting edges extending transversely of the elongation of the respective cutting members so that the objects which enter into the recesses are cut by the cutting edges in the common plane. The axis of rotation of the crank may be vertical, while the levers and arms may reciprocate in parallel horizontal planes. A hydraulic motor for driving the crank may be located directly above the crank, and the crank may be mounted on the output shaft of the motor for shared rotation therewith.
