    摘要: A device for printing hollow bodies includes a segmented wheel which can be rotated about a rotational axis. The segmented wheel has multiple segments, one behind the other, on the segmented wheel circumference, each for receiving a respective printing blanket. At least one of the printing blankets, which is arranged on one of the segments, is arranged on the hollow body to be printed in a rolling manner or at least in a rollable manner. Each of the printing blankets is arranged on a plate-shaped metal support. Each plate-shaped metal support is configured to be bendable and forms a metal printing blanket, together with the printing blanket arranged on the support. Each metal printing blanket formed by the respective support, together with the printing blanket arranged on the support, is arranged or can at least be arranged on one of the segments of the segmented wheel in a replaceable manner as a whole. Each support, which is arranged on one of the segments of the segmented wheel, of the corresponding metal printing blanket, is held on the support in one of a form-fitting and a force-fitting manner.

    摘要: A mandrel for use in a printing apparatus includes a substantially cylindrical mandrel shaft and plastic expansion rings that are slidably and coaxially mounted on the mandrel shaft. The mandrel also includes a locking assembly including a fixed stop ring and a single locking ring that is axially movably mounted on the mandrel shaft. The expansion rings are positioned between the stop ring and the locking ring. In the unlocked position of the locking ring the expansion rings are in a released state in which the axial compression and the radial expansion of the expansion rings are smaller than in a locked position of the locking ring. A printing cylinder sleeve can be fixedly connected to the mandrel by bringing the expansion rings in the radially expanded state. When the printing cylinder sleeve has to be exchanged, this is feasible when the expansion rings are in the released state.

The method comprises coupling an adjustment tool to a transfer cylinder substantially parallel to an axis of the transfer cylinder and coupling a first end of a flexible jacket to a first attachment structure coupled to the transfer cylinder, wherein the first attachment structure is proximate to a first edge of the transfer cylinder. The method further comprises placing the jacket around the transfer cylinder and over the adjustment tool and coupling the second end of the jacket to a second attachment structure coupled to the transfer cylinder, wherein the second attachment structure is proximate to a second edge of the transfer cylinder and the jacket is attached without free play to the transfer cylinder. The method further comprises withdrawing the adjustment tool from between the transfer cylinder and the jacket, whereby an amount of free play of the flexible jacket remains.

    摘要: A device is provided for securing at least one leading end and at least one trailing end of at least one packing on a cylinder of a rotary printing machine. The cylinder is provided with an axially extending channel. The leading end of the packing is bent at an acute angle and can fit into a nose configurement between the channel wall and the cylinder's peripheral surface. A securement element, that has a one-armed lever, is located in the channel and secures the trailing end by clamping it using a spring force. The channel has only one securing device in the peripheral direction.
