摘要： Easily serviced and hygienically maintained liquid supply system. A liquid storage vessel switching device switches between vessels to supply liquid uninterruptedly. Provided in a first connection tube is a liquid cutoff device, including a loop section, for switching the system between allowing/cutting-off supplying of liquid to a dispenser through the first connection tube. Utilizing the liquid cutoff device eliminates, along the first connection tube, intervening conventional valves having structural components that come in direct contact with the supplied liquid, and on which sponges or other cleaning elements might get caught. The inner wall of the first connection tube may thus be cleaned readily with a sponge or the like. Beverages such as beer thus can easily be kept hygienically and served.

摘要： A self-contained system is provided for cleaning a food flow path in a food processor. The system can be operably engaged without requiring disassembly and reassembly of the food processor or can be operably engaged after a partial disassembly of the food processor. The system includes a control assembly for directing passage of a solution through the food processor without requiring constant operator oversight. The system can employ available positive pressure water supply, such as public utility water pressure to selectively and automatically push solutions, including rinses, backwards or forwards through a food flow path in the food processor, though typically countercurrent to the normal processing food flow. A manifold assembly includes an intake manifold and a distribution manifold, with an induction port and/or access port in the distribution manifold for introducing additives or agents into a controlled motive stream passing through the manifold assembly.

摘要： A method for sanitizing a beverage dispenser apparatus includes filling fluid in at least a hot beverage tank of a beverage dispensing apparatus, heating the fluid in the hot beverage tank to a predetermined temperature range, configuring the drain valve to a closed state, activating a primary sanitation cycle by causing the heated fluid from the hot beverage tank to flow through at least a first subset of components of the beverage dispenser apparatus and terminating the primary sanitation cycle when at least one predetermined condition is satisfied. A secondary sanitation cycle is activated by causing the heated fluid from the hot beverage tank to flow through at least a second subset of components of the beverage dispenser apparatus.

The apparatus comprises a dispensing system, a mixing unit, and a control unit comprising a user interface, which interact to prepare a particular beverage when requested by a user. When the control unit receives user input requesting the particular beverage via the user interface, it causes the dispensing system to dispense various ingredients (e.g., fragmented ice, water, flavoring ingredients, milk product) that are mixed by the mixing unit in order to prepare the particular beverage, which is served in a cup. In various embodiments, the apparatus may produce frozen beverages that include fragmented ice (e.g., shaved or crushed ice) as one of their ingredients, such as slush beverages and smoothie beverages, and/or hot beverages that include heated water as one of their ingredients, such as coffee and flavored coffee beverages (e.g., French Vanilla, Mocha, etc.).

The sanitizing system comprises a processing unit having a discharge cell configured to initiate a cold plasma discharge in an air flow. A tank may be configured to receive the air flow from the discharge cell of the processing unit and expose water in the tank to the air flow for a time sufficient to provide dissolution of ozone from the air flow into the water and form ozone-containing water.

摘要： A dispensing pump including a pump mechanism and a pump bead is provided. The dispensing pump head includes an upper portion and a lower portion. The lower portion has a structure for attaching the dispensing pump to the container. The upper portion and the lower portion each has: (1) an internal area combining to form an enclosed space for containing a second product, and (2) a respective peripheral wall. The pump mechanism also includes a dispensing channel for the first product that extends between the upper and the lower portion. There is an aperture in either peripheral walls or a space between the respective peripheral walls. Upon the actuation of the dispensing pump, the upper portion passes into the lower portion to force air from the enclosed space and the second product is emitted through one of the apertures in either peripheral walls or the space therebetween.
