Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus to monitor mobile Internet activity are disclosed. An example apparatus includes at least one memory, and processor circuitry to execute instructions to at least assign (i) a first port of a proxy server to a first mobile device associated with a first panelist and (ii) a second port of the proxy server to a second mobile device associated with a second panelist, in response to receiving an un-authenticated request for media from at least one of the first, second, or third mobile devices, service the un-authenticated request in response to determining that the un-authenticated request is from an Internet Protocol (IP) address associated with an IP address range representative of devices on a cellular network, and, in response to servicing the un-authenticated request via the first port, store an association between the media and first panelist demographic information associated with the first mobile device.

Abstract: A method includes identifying, by a dispersed storage (DS) processing unit of a plurality of DS processing units of a dispersed storage network (DSN), a DSN operation to be performed that will adversely interfere with processing of DSN access requests. The method further includes sending, by the DS processing unit, a suspension request to a process balancing module of the DSN where the suspension request is for temporarily suspending processing of DSN access requests. The method further includes determining, by the process balancing module, whether sufficient processing resources of active DS processing units of the plurality of DS processing units are available for processing DSN access requests on behalf of the DS processing unit. When determined that sufficient processing resources are available, the method further includes granting the suspension request, and allocating DSN access requests of the DS processing unit to one ore of the active DS processing units.

Abstract: A method for discovering and tracking addresses associated with 4G service endpoints includes receiving, from a requesting node, a first domain name system (DNS) resolution or monitoring request including a fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of a 5G service endpoint. The method further includes querying a DNS server using the FQDN from the first DNS resolution request. The method further includes receiving, from the DNS server, a first response including an address associated with the 4G service endpoint and storing the address associated with the 4G service endpoint in a database. The method further includes communicating the address associated with the 4G service endpoint to the requesting node. The method further includes monitoring the FQDN for changes in address associated with the FQDN. The method further includes notifying the requesting node of the changes in address associated with the FQDN.

Abstract: In response to receiving an ASR message, a VTEP generates a specially modified control plane message advertising the IP-to-MAC binding of the ASR message. The control plane message may be modified to indicate that it is not to be used for MAC learning. The control plane message is advertised over the network. When an intended recipient receives the message, it uses that message just for the IP-to-MAC binding. When an unintended recipient receives the message, it may drop it as invalid.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses for device routing management are disclosed. A client device of a wireless network may roam from a first access point to a second access point of the wireless network. The second access point, or the client device itself, may send a network message indicating the client device is currently being served by the second access point. The message may cause a network mapping stored at the first access point and/or at each device associated with the wireless network to be updated to indicate the client device is associated with the second access point, thereby enabling proper routing of network traffic to the client device via the second access point.

Abstract: A network packet can be received at a host and it can be determined if such packet has a valid cryptographic public key for a destination host. If there is no known valid cryptographic public key, it is determined whether the network packet is a first network packet sent to the destination host, and if so, a queue is designated for network packets addressed to the destination host and a key management server is queried for a valid cryptographic public key associated with the destination host. Otherwise, the network packet is placed in a queue designated for the destination host until a valid cryptographic public key associated with the destination host becomes available. Upon a valid cryptographic public key associated with the destination host becoming available, the network packet is processed, encrypted and sent to the destination host.

Abstract: A system monitors a network or web application provided by one or more distributed applications and provides data for each and every method instance in an efficient low-cost manner. Instructions and/or configuration information may be transmitted by the controller to the agents that correspond to a particular business transaction portion associated with a hot spot. The portions are then monitored to collect data associated with the hot spot and the hot spot data is reported back to the controller.
