Abstract: A non-3GPP gateway is described for enabling a device without IP signaling capability to communicate on a 3GPP-based communications network. The non-3GPP gateway includes an IP adapter configured to map an IP address allocated by the 3GPP network with a non-IP capable device. The non-3GPP gateway further includes a signaling proxy configured to use a 3GPP credential to set up a session for sending and receiving data to and from a 3GPP core on behalf of the non-IP capable device, using the IP address mapped by the IP adapter.

Abstract: A computer system comprises cloud infrastructures including computers including a hypervisor manages a VM. The hypervisor includes a duplication correction virtual machine operating thereon, the duplication correction virtual machine controls communication of a duplication virtual machine to which a duplication MAC address assigned. Each of the cloud infrastructures includes a MAC address duplication monitoring module for monitoring duplication of the MAC address. The MAC address duplication monitoring module generates a translated MAC address in a case of detecting duplication of the MAC addresses; and transmits a duplication correction request including the translated MAC address to one of the computers on which the duplication virtual machine operates. The duplication correction virtual machine generates translation information in a case of receiving the duplication correction request, and controls communication between the duplication virtual machine and another virtual machine by using the translation information.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a domain name system (DNS) server processes a DNS query based on a policy statement that is attached to the DNS query. Upon receiving the DNS query, the DNS server executes one or more commands specified in the policy statement to generate a query state. The query state controls DNS resolution behavior that the DNS server implements as part of processing the DNS query. The DNS server then performs one or more DNS resolution operations based on DNS query and the query state to generate a response. Advantageously, because the semantics of the policy statement are encapsulated within the policy statement, the policy statement enables a client to unambiguously control DNS resolution behavior. By contrast, conventional DNS resolution guidance mechanisms that rely on DNS servers to infer policies based on client data may not reflect the preferences of the clients.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus to monitor mobile Internet activity are disclosed. An example apparatus includes at least one memory, machine-readable instructions, programmable circuitry to execute the machine-readable instructions to at least assign a first port of a proxy server to a mobile device associated with a panelist, cause transmission of configuration data to the mobile device to instruct the mobile device to transmit future requests the first port of the proxy server, obtain a first request for media on the first port originating from the mobile device, and after a determination that the first request originated from an Internet Protocol (IP) address associated with an IP address range representative of devices on a cellular network, service the first request, generate a data association, request the media from an Internet media provider identified in the first request, and cause transmission of the media to the mobile device.

Abstract: A distributed resource may be mapped into a virtual network, where the resource is distributed across a large number of nodes that are uniquely addressable within the distributed resource service's address space. The resource can be represented using a relatively small number of private VIP addresses within the virtual network, while still enabling access to all of the nodes that are uniquely addressable within the address space of the distributed resource service. A resource map may be created that relates the distributed resource service's address space to the virtual network's address space. The resource map may be used by a gateway that facilitates access to a distributed resource by clients. The resource map may also be used to translate packets that are sent from clients within a virtual network into the distributed resource service's address space.
