摘要: A press forming method uses a press forming apparatus for forming a film formed product as a formed film of a solid polymer electrolyte fuel cell. The method includes the step of trimming, in the state where a film material is held between a first die and a holder, by moving a second die closer to the first die to cut the film material using a trimming blade provided for the second die. A blade edge of the trimming blade includes two inclined blade edges inclined toward a proximal side of a blade part from the center to both ends of the blade part in the direction in which the blade part extends.

摘要: During power reduction transitions of a fuel cell power plant, the excess electric energy generated by consumption of reactants is extracted, during one or more periods of time, by a voltage limiting device control (200) in response to a controller (185) as i) energy dissipated in a resistive auxiliary load or ii) as energy applied to an energy storage system (201) (a battery), in boost and buck embodiments. The controller operates the voltage limiting device control in response to the positive time derivative of the voltage of one or more of the fuel cells exceeding a predetermined limiting value.

摘要: The present invention is a catalyst for a solid polymer fuel cell including: catalyst particles of platinum, cobalt and manganese; and a carbon powder carrier supporting the catalyst particles, wherein the component ratio (molar ratio) of the platinum, cobalt and manganese of the catalyst particles is of Pt:Co:Mn=1:0.06 to 0.39:0.04 to 0.33, and wherein in an X-ray diffraction analysis of the catalyst particles, the peak intensity ratio of a Co—Mn alloy appearing around 2θ=27° is 0.15 or less on the basis of a main peak appearing around 2θ=40°. It is particularly preferred that the catalyst have a peak ratio of a peak of a CoPt3 alloy and an MnPt3 alloy appearing around 2θ=32° of 0.14 or more on the basis of a main peak.

摘要: A method of coating a membrane having a first side and an opposite second side and carried with its second side adhering to a backer film is provided. The method includes coating the first side of the membrane with a catalyst ink or slurry with the second side adhering to the backer film and curing the coating on the first side. The backer film is then removed to expose the second side of the membrane which is fed onto a vacuum conveyor with the coated first side facing the conveyor. The second side of the membrane is then coated with a catalyst ink or slurry and the coating on the second side cured after which the membrane is removed from the vacuum conveyor.

摘要: The present invention addresses the problem of providing a crosslinked film and a hydrocarbon-based proton conducting solid electrolyte having a proton conductivity equal to that of a perfluorosulfonate ion exchange polymer. Disclosed as a means for solving this problem is a proton conducting polymer electrolyte which is composed of a sulfonated polyphenyl compound having a plurality of repeating units, and wherein two or more (for example, four or six) sulfonic groups are introduced into one repeating unit on average. The sulfonated polyphenyl compound may be a polymer or copolymer having a skeleton structure selected from among a polyaryl sulfide, a polyaryl ether, a polyarylsulfone, a polyarylketone and a polyaryl hexafluoroisopropylidene. A proton conducting solid polymer electrolyte membrane is able to be produced by shaping this proton conducting polymer electrolyte into a film form and crosslinking this proton conducting polymer electrolyte via sulfonic groups.

摘要: A fuel cell system is configured to generate power by supplying anode gas and cathode gas to a fuel cell. The fuel cell system includes a load connected to the fuel cell and an IV estimation unit configured to change an output current of the fuel cell with a predetermined width by adjusting power supplied to the load during the warm-up of the fuel cell. The fuel cell system is configured to estimate an IV characteristic of the fuel cell on the basis of at least two sets of an output current value and an output voltage value detected while the output current is changed. The fuel cell system includes an IV estimation stop unit configured to stop the execution of the IV estimation on the basis of an output of the fuel cell during the execution of the IV estimation.
