    Abstract: A magnetic flux modulated type magnetic gear includes a small number of poles mechanism which has a plurality of magnetic poles, a large number of poles mechanism which has more magnetic poles than the small number of poles mechanism, and a pole piece which is provided between the small number of poles mechanism and the large number of poles mechanism, wherein, in the magnetic pole of the large number of poles mechanism, a permanent magnet and a magnetic field coil are provided. And the magnetic field coil is connected to a direct current power supply, which can be turned on and off.

    Abstract: An inductively electrically excited synchronous machine is disclosed. The synchronous machine includes a rotor including at least one rotor coil for generating a magnetic rotor field, a stator including at least one stator coil for generating a magnetic stator field, a rotary transformer including at least one transformer primary coil fixed to the stator and at least one transformer secondary coil arranged fixed to the rotor for supplying the at least one rotor coil with electrical energy. A machine control is connected to the stator coil and the transformer primary coil. A demagnetisation circuit is electrically interconnected with the stator coil and includes a switching device. The switching device is configured so that during a normal operation the switching device deactivates the demagnetisation circuit and that upon a machine fault the switching device activates the demagnetisation circuit.

    Abstract: A method for manufacturing a rotor includes filling magnet housing holes, which accommodate magnets, with plastic that has been heated to a specified temperature to be molten, thereby heating a rotor core with heat of the plastic, arranging an end plate on one end face in the axial direction of the rotor core, thereby heating the end plate with heat of the heated rotor core, and welding the end plate to the rotor core. The welding the end plate includes welding the end plate to the rotor core in a state in which, during decrease of temperatures of the rotor core and the end plate, the temperatures of the rotor core and the end plate are lower than the specified temperature and within an operational temperature range for use of the rotor.

    Abstract: An electromagnetic transport system includes a stator and at least one transport unit movable along the stator. The stator includes at least one drive module with an airtight housing where a plurality of drive coils are arranged. A supply cable connects the stator or the at least one drive module to a supply voltage for energizing the drive coils. An empty conduit is integrated into the supply cable and is arranged inside an outer sheath of the supply cable. The empty conduit is provided with an opening at a supply-side end of the supply cable. An end of the supply cable is connected to the at least one drive module such that an exchange of a medium between an interior of the at least one drive module, formed by the airtight housing, and an environment in the area of the supply voltage only takes place via the empty conduit.
