Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for operating a Discontinuous Reception, DRX, function at a user equipment. The UE is configured with at least one licensed cell and at least one unlicensed cell and operates the DRX function. The UE receives, from a radio base station, a DRX-active instruction to be in DRX Active Time at least on the unlicensed cell until receiving the next downlink control information related to a downlink data transmission to be received via the unlicensed cell. Correspondingly, in response to the received DRX-active instruction, the UE is in DRX Active Time at least on the unlicensed cell, comprising continuously monitoring a downlink control channel for downlink control information.

Abstract: Provided are M signal processors that respectively generate modulated signals for M reception apparatuses (where M is an integer equal to 2 or greater), a multiplexing signal processor, and N antenna sections (where N is an integer equal to 1 or greater). When transmitting multiple streams, each of the M signal processors generates two mapped signals, generates first and second precoded signals by precoding the two mapped signals, periodically changes the phase of signal points in the IQ plane with respect to the second precoded signal, outputs the phase-changed signal, and outputs the first precoded signal and the phase-changed second precoded signal as two modulated signals. When transmitting a single stream, each of the M signal processor outputs a single modulated signal. The multiplexing signal processor multiplexes the modulated signals output from the M signal processors, and generates N multiplexed signals. The N antenna sections respectively transmit the N multiplexed signals.

Abstract: In a terminal that judges whether to trigger a handover from a serving cell to another cell, a RSRQ/RSRP measurer measures a first received quality value by using a cell-specific reference signal transmitted from the neighboring cell or a second received quality value by using a cell-detection reference signal transmitted from the neighboring cell. An offset adder calculates a third received quality value by adding an offset value to the second received quality value. A judging circuitry judges whether the first received quality value or the third received quality value satisfies a handover triggering condition with reference to the cell-specific reference signal. A transmitter transmits trigger information to the neighboring cell in order to activate handover from a serving cell to the neighboring cell, based on the judgement results.

Abstract: A dictation device includes: an audio input device configured to receive a voice utterance including a plurality of words; a video input device configured to receive video of lip motion during the voice utterance; a memory portion; a controller configured according to instructions in the memory portion to generate first data packets including an audio stream representative of the voice utterance and a video stream representative of the lip motion; and a transceiver for sending the first data packets to a server end device and receiving second data packets including combined dictation based upon the audio stream and the video stream from the server end device. In the combined dictation, first dictation generated based upon the audio stream has been corrected by second dictation generated based upon the video stream.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for transmitting and receiving a beamformed data transmission transmitted from a radio base station to a user equipment over an unlicensed band. The data transmission is transmitted by the radio base station within one or more resource blocks of a subframe, each resource block being composed of a plurality of resource elements. The beamformed data transmission is generated by the radio base station by 1) applying a first precoding for generating a beam directionality towards the user equipment to a subset of all the resource elements used for transmitting the data transmission in the subframe, and 2) applying a second precoding, different from the first precoding, to the remaining resource elements used for transmitting the data transmission in the subframe so as to achieve a radiation pattern different from the beam directionality towards the user equipment.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for providing, by a UE, feedback information of a retransmission protocol to a radio base station, the UE being configured with at least two cells. A least one cell bundling group is defined for the UE such that one of the at least one cell bundling group is associated with at least two out of the at least two cells. The UE communicates with the radio base station to receive downlink transmissions via at least one of the at least two cells. The UE operates a retransmission protocol with the radio base station to provide feedback information for the downlink communication. For each cell bundling group, the UE bundles feedback information generated in connection with those cells being associated with the respective cell bundling group so as to generate bundled feedback information per cell bundling group. The UE transmits the bundled feedback information of each cell bundling group to the radio base station.

Abstract: An information communication method obtains information from a subject using a terminal device that includes an image sensor. The method includes setting an exposure time of the image sensor having a plurality of exposure lines so that a bright line corresponding to each of the plurality of exposure lines appears according to a change in luminance of the subject. The method also includes obtaining a bright line image including a plurality of bright lines, by capturing the subject that changes in luminance by the image sensor, and obtaining identification information of the subject. The subject has a rectangular shape, is captured with an around view of the subject. Each of the plurality of bright lines appears within the rectangular shape of the subject in the bright line image, and follows a direction between long sides of the rectangular shape of the subject in the bright line image.
