The collector flight attachment link comprises an elongated lower link portion adapted to be interconnected with adjacent chain links in the chain. The flight attachment link also comprises a cantilevered collector flight support portion projecting upwardly from the lower link portion and including a paddle plate extending transversely to the link portion and having spaced apart first and second plate sections interconnected at their upper ends by a web section. Stress relief notches are provided between the lower edges of the paddle plate and the lower link portion.

摘要： A modular conveyor belt composed of a plurality of modules. Each module comprises an integrally formed body having a planar conveying surface and pivotal coupling structure on a pair of opposite sides of the body. The pivotal coupling structure on one side of the body being complementary to that on the other side thereof whereby the module may be pivotally connected to like modules on the opposite sides thereof to form the conveyor belt. The pivotal coupling structure comprises a plurality of spaced apart pivot structures projecting from each side of the module and below the planar surface and each including a pair of spaced eyelets having openings coaxial with the openings of the other eyelets on the same side of the module for receiving a hinge pin therethrough and defining an axial direction, the hinge structures on each side of the module being spaced apart from each other in the axial direction and from the hinge structure on adjacent modules when the module is coupled to an adjacent module to define gaps therebetween. The gaps between the eyelets and the hinge structures expose substantial portions of the pin disposed in the openings for inspection and cleaning.

摘要： The conveyor chain assembly is made of multiple rows of pivotally connected link modules. Each module has spaced link ends which project between the link ends of the module in the adjacent row. The joint between modules in a row is straddled or bridged by a module in the adjacent row to give a bricked lay-up. Each of the modules on the left side of the conveyor has a solid link end so the pivot rod abuts the inside of the link end. The other end of the pivot rod lies just inside of a spring plug mounted in the arm or link end on the right side module. The modules cannot be end-for-ended and assembled. They must be assembled correctly. Certain link ends are wider than the others to require proper assembly to the modules in the adjacent row and to distribute drive loads over a greater area. Both sides of the conveyor are essentially flush or smooth.
