    Abstract: A power transmission system for a wind turbine includes a main shaft configured to be driven by the rotor about a main axis, a support structure including at least one bearing supporting the main shaft for rotation about the main axis, and a gearbox having a gearbox housing rigidly coupled to the support structure and a gearbox input member coupled to the main shaft. The gearbox housing supports the gearbox input member for rotation about the main axis, and the gearbox input member is coupled to the main shaft with a translational degree of freedom along the main axis and rotational degrees of freedom about axes perpendicular to the main axis. The main shaft is coupled to the gearbox input member by a flexible coupling positioned at least partially within the main shaft. The flexible coupling may be positioned entirely within the main shaft.

    Abstract: A flexible coupling includes a flexible torque disc having a first plurality of fixing points so that it can be mounted upon a first rotatable component, in use, and a second plurality of fixing points so that it can be mounted upon a second rotatable component, in use. The coupling also includes a support ring, and mounting means so that the flexible torque disc is secured to the support ring. The mounting means restrict deflection of the flexible torque disc relative to the support ring.

    Abstract: An industrial work vehicle including a frame and a first shaft rotatably connected to the frame via first and second bearings. The work vehicle further includes a second shaft rotatably positioned in line with the first shaft and connected to the first shaft via a coupling. The second shaft is further connected to the frame via a third bearing. The coupling includes a first connection and a second connection. The first connection connects the first shaft to the second shaft via a fourth bearing adapted to support a radial load and to accommodate an axial rotation and an angular misalignment of one shaft with respect to the other shaft. The second connection connects the first shaft to the second shaft via flange elements which are interconnected via an intermediary element adapted to transmit a torque and to accommodate a misalignment of one shaft with respect to the other shaft.

    Abstract: A cord package supporting device for supporting a cord package wound with a cord, such as for an elastic joint disk for connecting two shaft portions, is disclosed. The cord package includes two opposite arcuate cord regions and two tangential cord regions that connect the arcuate cord regions to each other and extend parallel to each other. In embodiments, the cord package supporting device includes a first redirecting portion and a second redirecting portion, about which in each case one arcuate cord region of the cord package is guided. In embodiments, the two redirecting portions are integrally connected to each other via a web. An elastic joint disc and a method for producing an elastic joint disc are also disclosed.

    Abstract: A flexible coupling includes an input body, an output body offset from the input body, and a flexible lattice body. The flexible lattice body includes a flex beam member coupling the input body to the output body. The flex beam member has a rounded cross-sectional area with a centrally disposed minimum cross-sectional area to reduce peak stress in the flex beam member while transferring torque and accommodating misalignment between the input body and the output body. The flexible coupling is jointless, simplifying fabrication, and has a free-form geometry, reducing weight.

    Abstract: A transmission device to divide torque between gears. The device comprising a coaxial motion input member and transmission members and comprising shafts having gears at an axial end. Flanges which project radially outwards from the shafts, at the opposite axial end with respect to the gears, are axially facing and arranged abutting against each other, and are fixed to the motion input member to divide the torque transmitted by the motion input member between the flanges. The second shaft being axially hollow. The first shaft comprising a first intermediate portion having an outside diameter smaller than the inside diameter of the second shaft and housed at least with radial clearance in the second shaft. The flanges comprise respective portions configured to deform under the action of forces acting between the motion input member and the gears to enable a fluctuation of the shafts with respect to an axis.
